{chapter forty two ~ goodbye}

Y/N's POV

"Are you sure you don't want that jerk to be beaten his ass by me?" Anna asked as I continue to sulk in my airplane seat.

I just left Jungkook from that island and all I could think about is go home with Anna.

I can't believe that I've let that man take advantage of me.

"Sana was right all along, I will never be like her." I said while on the verge of tears but Anna hugged me tightly.

"She was right, you'll never be like her. Not when she's a slut who sleeps around that asshole." She murmured into my head as I cried more.

Anna is the only one I can trust right now and I am so grateful to have her by my side.

"Expect landing in a few seconds, thank you for trusting B Airlines." The theme song of the Airlines started to play indicating that we are already back home.

"Go dry up those tears because we're going to land. Help me with our luggages too, okay?" She reassuringly asked and I nodded my head while wiping my tears.

We landed safely back to Seoul and it was amazing to be back. All the weight from my shoulders disappeared and Anna hurriedly grabbed me to grab our bags.

"We shouldn't take our time, Y/N! We can't let him catch up to you." She looked straight into my eyes and I started looking for answers why.

"B-but! I don't care about him anymore!" I grumpily said and tears started coming out of my eyes.

"Look at me! He never deserved you! Never! So if I were you, I will never want to see his face anymore. That's why we need to move." Anna said while gathering our bags again and I decided to help her with it.

"Call a taxi, Y/N." She instructed me and I immediately followed her instructions.

I stood by the entrance of the airport and waited for a taxi to come. A few minutes later, we were sitting comfort inside a cab.

"Y/N, I've asked a friend of mine to rent a small apartment for us. She said that we can move there now." Anna told me and I nodded my head softly.

I still can't believe what he did to me.

We arrived at the old apartment that Jungkook bought for the both of us. my heart clenched as I remembered my relationship with him.

"Do you want to have some fresh air first?" Anna asked me and I nodded my head at her.

"I'm going to the convenience store for a while." I told her and she nodded her head.

I walked towards the old convenience store and ahjumma welcomed me immediately.

"How's your vacation?" She asked me and I smiled at her eagerness.

"It wasn't fine, ahjumma." I honestly answered her and she hurriedly went to grab something.

"Here." My eyes darted on the yellow packaging in front of me.

"I remembered you drinking it with your boyfriend. That could make your day right?" I held the yellow bottle in my hands tightly and tears started pouring once again.

"Ahjumma, don't worry about me." I loooked up at her and she gave me another bottle of banana milk.

"Give that to your lovely boyfriend too." She wiped my tears once again.

"Don't cry, your boyfriend will be mad if you cry like that-" The door of the convenience store opened harshly.

"Y/N! We need to move, Jungkook is here!" I stood up and suddenly ahjumma grabbed my hand.

"Take this at least." She handed me the two bottles and I nodded my head.

"Thank you and goodbye ahjumma." I said my farewell and she smiled at me for the last time.

"We need to hurry, Y/N." We went inside the apartment and helped her by putting our clothes in our bags.

Anna took out her phone and decided to call Namjoon.

"Namjoon? Where are you heading?" Anna called Namjoon and before he can answer.

"Anna! Where is Y/N?! Please let me speak to her! I'm begging you! Y/N, please." He cried to the phone and tears started to form in my eyes again.

"Shut the fuck up, Jungkook! She doesn't deserve you so goodbye." Before Anna could hung up his words made me cry more.

"Y/N, I didn't mean it-." Anna sternly dragged me to stand up.

"What if he really didn't mean it Anna?" I asked her and she laughed.

"Y/N, you need to stop right now! He hurt you and that's enough of a reason to stop loving him!" She angrily yelled at me.

"Look at me, Y/N." The both of us started to get emotional and I started running into my room. Locking it and making sure that Anna can't disturb me.

"Y/N! We need to go now!" She shouted while banging the door.

I hurriedly took a piece of paper and pen to write something.

"Y/N, I'm going to break this door down if you don't open it." She added and I started crying more.

The door bursted open and Anna looked at me.

"Please! Just let me say goodbye to him at least." I cried and she nodded her head.

"You could've just told me." She went out of my room and I started writing immediately.

"Please hurry up, I called a cab already and Jungkook is directly going here." She patted my head as she went downstairs with luggages.

I feel bad for not helping her but she will probably smack me if I try helping her.

"Y/N!" She called out and I looked at her sweaty form.

"They're here! We need to go now!" I hurriedly stood up and went into the kitchen table leaving the note with the banana milk.

"Y/N! Let's go." She said panicking and I grabbed a pillow with me.

It's my time to leave this place now.

I turned off the lights of our home and tears started streaming down once again.

"Goodbye, Jungkook."
