xix. my angel

tell me what's wandering in your thoughts

i want to save you from hell so let's get through this fire together

light the candle and dissolve those demon eyes

i'll help you see how much you really mean to me

being with you is a dream so let it last forever

your smile ignites the room, but even more so your laugh

didn't know i fell for you, just realized it one day

the way you laid those eyes on me, you know you got my attention

so i'll wait to spend this life with your affection

you're the first to cross my mind as the sun shines, last when the night passes

like an ocean, i get lost and drown deep in your love

as traces of you were found in the whispers of the wind

am i drunk or just confused?

i need you to lead the way home, let's walk as i rest my head on your arms

then tell me if it's too much to ask for a kiss

and please believe me when i say you're god's gift
