Valerie woke up the next morning asleep in Zayn's arms. She sat up and rubbed her eyes just as Zayn stirred.

"Morning, Val." Zayn smiled.

"Good morning." Valerie smiled back. "What day is it?"

"Uh...Friday, 8:30." Zayn answered.

"Oh. Do we have homework?" Valerie asked.

"You really think Professor Kiarah and Mitto will give you homework with you in the Hospital Wing? Professor Janessa's also canceling your presentation about Unicorns, and Professor Aliyah passed you on the quiz yesterday." Zayn replied.

"But what about the quiz Professor Eve had?" Valerie queried.

"...she failed you." Zayn said, instantly regretting.

Valerie's eyes widened, and like Lisette's, only inches. Then she sighed. "Well, I guess she is a bit upset I've been failing Divination...oh well, past is past." She shrugged. "Come on, let's go to the Hall, I'm hungry..."

Zayn smiled and the two got dressed (Wait how did Zayn get clothes?) and went to the Great Hall.

-at the Great Hall-

Valerie and Zayn entered the Great Hall, greeted by Lisette and Edwin.

"VALERIE!" Lisette smiled and pulled Valerie into a tight hug.

"Welcome back, Val. Mae's missed you to hell yesterday." Edwin chuckled.

Lisette glared at Edwin. "Don't play games, Nids. You know you missed her too!" She said.

"We all missed her, Mae." Zayn smiled.

"What do you guys say we get breakfast?" Valerie gasped, and Lisette immediately let her go, looking awkward.

The four friends decided to eat at the Hufflepuff table to chat with Valerie.

"And to make things worse, Kitara framed us for the death of Professor Jannesa's canary!" Edwin said, playing with his fork.

"She only blamed you, Ed." Zayn muttered with a mouthful.

"She's got no grudge against us." Lisette added.

"That hurts, Lis." Edwin mocked playfully.

"Quit while you're ahead." Lisette snapped.

Edwin chuckled.

"You know sometimes I wanna be a Matchmaker." Valerie teased.

"Valerie!" Lisette whined.

Valerie giggled. "But Lisdwin is a great ship!" She whined back.

Zayn chuckled.

"Oh yeah, like Vayn isn't adorable." Edwin smiled, nudging Zayn's side with his elbow.

"Don't drag me into this!" Zayn said, furrowing his brows.

"It's your girl's fault." Edwin shrugged.

Valerie turned beet red then began hitting Edwin's arm. "Shut up!" She whined.

Lisette laughed. "But really, Vayn is cute~." She said, her smile replaced by a smirk.

Valerie hid behind her hands. "I just returned from the Hospital Wing! Why are you guys doing this?" She asked, her whiny voice not leaving.
