Year: Junior

One day in choir, our teacher was either sick or had somewhere to be that day (I don't remember which), so of course, we had a sub. Our sub told us that our teacher did leave us an assignment for that day, which was section practice.

For section practice, the sopranos, altos, tenors and basses would split up and go into the rooms they were assigned to practice their parts on our songs. The sopranos would stay in the classroom, the altos would go into the dressing room, and the tenors and basses would go somewhere in the narrow hallway that connected the choir room to the band room. Since I was an alto, I went into the dressing room.

I think we did practice for a bit, but then all of a sudden someone said, "Ravioli, ravioli, give me the formuoli." So then we started to fool around and come up with our own version of singing it. We decided who would do the high notes, the middle notes, and the low notes. We all then sang it (while I was recording the whole thing), and it was pretty hilarious.
