Tis SPOOKY SEASON

Y/N changed into some decent clothes, not clothes like "Ready to go" but more like "If someone randomly walks in then I'm not naked so it's okay" clothes. She leaned against the counter, briefly overthinking her overthinking before an idea came to her head.

"Court?" She called, turning toward Courtney's direction. "Hm?" Courtney yawned as she stumbled in. Y/N smiled. "Me too Court. But since it's Spooktober what if we got some Halloween costumes or something, or at least let's get some candy so we can celebrate in the best way." Courtney grinned. "I like both of those ideas, that can be our plan today."

"Candy, or costumes?" "Both, duh. And we can bring Shanyé along. He's gotta get in touch with his feminine side." Y/N laughed. "He's probably more in touch with his feminine side more than I am." (True statement for me cause like.. it's Shayne, c'mon)

"You think he'll be up for it?" Y/N asked, slightly doubtful. "I guess we'll see, but you two are really hitting it off so I think he'll at least wanna chill with you." She reassured as she pulled her phone out of her pocket. "You texting him right now?" She smiled. "The group chat. Maybe we can all just pig out on candy."

Y/N smiled. "Great plan." Shortly after, she felt her phone buzz in her pocket.

Courtney: u guys should all like come halloween shopping. Squad bonding :)

Almost immediately we got a ping from Ian.

Ian: Candy.

Me too Ian.

Olivia: We should definitely get candy also costumes right?

Me: Of course the more candy the better. The more ridiculous the costumes the awesomer

Shayne: Awesomer isn't a word Y/N

Me: It is now

"So Courtney." Y/N started. "What's up?" "What's some cool costume ideas?" She shrugged. "I like matching, maybe you and I can match?" She smirked and poked Y/N's shoulder repeatedly. "Or maybe you and SHAYNE can match!" Y/N smiled, reddening a little and shook her head. "Like what?"

"You didn't completely throw away the offer." She observed, grinning excitedly. "I don't have any ideas off the top of my head, but I'll come up with something, trust me." Y/N laughed. "I believe you." Courtney and Y/N phone pinged together and they both checked their phones.

Ian: So I think we're all on board, what time should we all head out?

Me: when I get my life together

"Me TOO." Courtney laughed. Y/N turned off her phone and groaned. "I really am not in the mood to get my whole life together so maybe just a little bit." She started, standing up. "Like showering. I feel dirty." She quickly escaped to her bedroom and browsed her wardrobe for some clothes.

After a moment of "Let's pick an outfit" or "Just grab a shirt and jeans and let's go" self arguing, she finally did a bit of both and did a triple somersault into the shower. Just kidding, double backflip. (She's giving herself too much credit, she just stepped into the shower I swear.) Then proceeded to prepare for the possibly excitingly chaotic day ahead.

My writing style is all over the place and I'm definitely okay with it because I laugh at myself all the time. Please enjoy my stupidity and weirdness because today I was Dino DeVito at school. (AKA I was an inflatable dino and ran around screaming "I'm DINO DEVITO, MY JOKES ARE EXTINCT LIKE ME!"
