The night was cold. A middle-aged chunky man strolled down the empty streets of a quiet neighborhood. His confident walk indicated that he knew the route well. He whistled happily a couple of times. A creepy smile spread on his face. He knew that Alex was struggling. She adored that dirty flea bag way too much to give him away. This meant that she would come around to his offer. He licked his lips imagining what he would do to her. He felt the heat quickly spread in his lower body. *That girl has no idea what is waiting for her. * he smirked gulping down the saliva which accumulated in his mouth, just them he noticed a shower. Someone was walking behind him.

Normally he wouldn't pay it much thought. It was a quiet neighborhood, where nothing ever happened. That was the main reason why he bought a house there. But there was something about that shadow that sent chills down his spine. He gulped and turned around abruptly, praying to all the gods he knew that his imagination was playing tricks on him. Before he could focus his sight, a large hand grabbed him by the neck and a fist connected with his stomach. He coughed, dripping blood and saliva on his clothes. The man tried to speak but the stranger hissed at him.

"Shut your trap." Yellow cat like eyes looked into his own, piercing his skin straight into his soul. "If I see you going near Alex one more time, you will not get off with one hit." The stranger grinned showing his teeth. The man gasped in fear at two sharp fangs shining in the streetlight. "I will find you," the grasp on his neck tightened. "Nod once if you understand,"

The man nodded with difficulty.

The stranger grinned and released his grip. The man fell on the ground coughing and rubbing his neck. He looked up at the stranger in front of him. He was tall and well built, dressed lightly for the winter. He couldn't see his face clearly, but something about the posture looked familiar.

"And just to seal our deal," he stranger said putting his hands into the pockets of his light jacket. Before the man could say anything, a foot connected with his stomach.

"Wh...who are you?" the man whispered choking on his own saliva.

The stranger didn't reply. He snickered and disappeared into the night.
