Chapter 71- I Missed You

"Sorry", Mikage apologised, he didn't realise he said that until after the words came out, it was almost instinctive.

After pathetically struggling to cough up the water Nobu half scrambled half ran to Risa's side. Whilst on his knees he hugged her stomach preciously, "Our child finally"

Risa smiled and hugged Nobu's head "Honestly our child couldn't take his time any more than this, from the moment I first laid eyes on you I imagined this for us"

"Risa", Nobu sobbed uncontrollably.

"But you had to play hard to get, it made it extra difficult", she carelessly said.

Nobu looked up at Risa suddenly serious despite the snot flowing from his nose, "That's it, no work from now" he said.

Risa had a big smile on her face but it appeared rather frightening, "You don't get to decide that especially now you're on sick leave, and right now you're only here as a customer. Otherwise, I only want to see you at home, understood"

"Yes ma'am," he said straightening up.

She met Sumiko's gaze, "Now," she said continuing her menacing smile, then found Himiko behind her with a tray. 'Time to sort out this mess'

"Haah it's a shame ladies, but he's far out of your league...and he's already claimed," she said, trying her best to sound regretful.

"By a Wife? Then I don't mind being a mistress", Sumiko rushed to speak, bravely sticking out her chest. Then shyly retreated once she found Mikage's gaze land on her.

Himiko only glared at her but couldn't help but feel disheartened by the news.

'Nice fighting spirit' Risa couldn't help but praise in her mind but sadly...'

"A mistress...child only if that were even possible...more like a husband and that man is your opponent. You wouldn't stand a chance" she giggled meanly.

The pair of girls couldn't help but allow their mouths to widen unseemly at the striking news,

"You're gay?", Himiko exploded almost dropping the tea as she did, she couldn't hide a trace of disgust in her tone.

Mikage held his expression fairly well, he felt iffy by the label she ignorantly placed on him and Risa slapped her before he had a chance said anything.

"Watch your tongue and mind your manners," she paused for a moment to let her words sink in. "Do you think Nobu-san calls just anyone Aniki", now the smile on her face was lost and Nobu purposely diminished his presence.

Mikage smiled she was very blunt and he liked that, she really was someone suited to be by Nobu's side.

Mikage intervened before the situation got tenser, "I prefer the term free spirit more", after all a long time ago he didn't distinguish by the genders of the Gods and Goddesses he used to fool around with.

Risa nodded in curt understanding of his intentions, "You're quite lucky the Boss's man is so kind" she spoke directly to Himiko.

"The boss?" both Himiko and Sumiko said in unison if their eyes opened any wider Mikage was afraid that they'd pop right out.

Mikage didn't confirm nor deny Risa words. Which only confirmed it for the two. And Risa hands that were so attentively touching the boy retreated so quickly, he probably would've been offended, if he didn't sense her turmoil.
