The Mission

3rd POV
Another three weeks passed as Ruby walked with her team, her personality was slowly coming back, but it's obvious that she was still shattered over the incident. Ozpin stood in the hall.
Ozpin: hello girls. Well I have good news for one of you.
Weiss: what is it?
Ozpin: we may have found Y/N.
Ruby looked up at Ozpin, her eyes practically lit up as she heard the news.
Ozpin: it's on an island, no name, but there has been a lot of Grimm activity over there. However, as quick as they appear, they disappear.
Weiss: well it's worth a shot to say the least.
Yang was about to say something, then looked at Ruby, before catching her tongue and standing their quietly.
Ozpin: be very careful when you four go out there, but if anything is to happen then team JNPR will be on standby.
Team RWBY went to the Bullhead in the front, got on and flew over to the island.
Ruby was obviously trying to contain her excitement.
Blake: you look excited.
Ruby: we're seeing Y/N!
Weiss: hopefully he'll be happy to see us. Though he is your childhood friend so the chances are good.
Timeskip to the Island
The four got off the Bullhead and looked around. Grimm corpses were everywhere.
Ruby: uh guys.
Weiss: they....they're not faded.
Yang: they're supposed to fade away when they're dead, why not in this case.
Blake: I.....I don't know.
The sound of screaming was heard in the distance.
Ruby: Y/N!
She ran towards the sound of the screaming, her team following behind her. They made it to what appeared to be an area like area, then they saw a few cells. One of the cells opened wide, the sound of an old man laughing was heard all around them.
Y/N walked out of the cell and looked at the girls. Ruby smiled wide as she ran over to him.
Blake: what's going on?
Weiss: something's not right!
Weiss pulled out her rapier and stabbed it into the ground, making an ice wall between Y/N and Ruby. Y/N punched the Ice Wall, shattering it and knocking back Ruby, though no contact from him made it to her.
Ruby: Y/N?
The sound of an old man laughing was heard as the hooded figure walked along a metal platform, his eyes pure white.
POB: look at what you've made.
The team look at the Paladin as he placed his hand up and points at them.
POB: strike now.
Y/N's eyes turned reptilian as his skin turned white.
Weiss: is he out of his mind!?
Y/N yelled out in rage as he held his head, tears fell from his face as his rage then turned into a laugh. He grew larger as a tail formed and slammed down into the ground. His transformation was finally done, the Indominus Rex was there, no Y/N was left in sight.
Ruby and the others looked up at the Indominus as it roared out and charged at them.
Blake: Dodge!
The Indominus went on all fours and slid, using its tail and punted the girls hard.
Meanwhile at Beacon.
Ozpin watched their aura take a massive hit, immediately making him worried.
Ozpin: set up a bullhead and get JNPR on it!
Ozpin looked to see all of their aura was a quarter drained.
Ozpin: what is happening over there?
The Indominus roared out as it went to bite down on Weiss who dodged it completely, then jumped up to stab the Indominus in the side. It roared out in annoyance as it ran towards a wall and turned, making her take the force. Her aura took a massive hit from that attack, she fell weakly to the ground. Her aura was in the dark orange phase, still intact but it won't take much more. The Indominus roared as it backed away from the wall.
Yang jumped from the side and punched the creature in the face.
Yang: oh you think you're big and bad now?
The Indominus stood tall as it growled at Yang.
Yang: you're still the same child that ran away.
The Indominus roared at Yang, who had a smirk across her face.
Yang: come on! You want to hit me don't you?!
Blake: what are you doing?
POB: Boy!
The old man's voice echoed, catching the attention of the Indominus.
POB: she is using your rage. Deal with her later, after all, she is probably the biggest reason they never cared. She told them about what you did. You are weak them them and strong to me.
Ruby: Y/N I never stopped thinking about you!
The Indominus roared as it grabbed Yang while she was listening to the Paladin.
Blake: Yang!
The Indominus roared as it threw Yang into a wall, it not only dented the wall, but shattered her aura.
Ruby: Yang!
POB: yes!
The Indominus Rex looked at Blake and tail whipped her, it nailed her hard and was sent flying, her aura in the red zone. Weiss slid across the floor, only to be hit by the claws of the Indominus, sending her flying into Blake, shattering both of their auras. All that was left was Ruby.
Ruby: Y/N.
The Indominus looked at her and growled. She dropped her weapon and looked up at him.
Ruby: I'm not going to give up on you Y/N. You're there.....just please.
She placed her hand up towards the face of the hybrid. She felt the cold scaly skin and gave a soft smile looking at him. The Indominus let off a small sigh as its eyes closed. A small tear left from the hybrid's eyes.
The Paladin's smile disappeared as he placed his hand on the railing and sighed.
POB: Roll it.....again.
The Indominus Rex's eyed shot open as it roared out, fear was leading the motives this time. Ruby looked worried as the Indominus stood tall and lunged towards her. It bit down hard on her leg, making her scream out in pain. The teeth sunk in deep as it picked her up.
Yang: R-Ruby!
POB: Unleash your rage.
The Indominus threw Ruby to the side, her leg bleeding and her aura shattered. The Indominus looked at its downed victims and roared in victory.
