All four of them needed an apartment.

Logan had put out a roommate request on a website for finding apartments to rent and finding roommates around your age. Soon enough, Patton, Roman, and Virgil all replied saying that they would like to move in with each other.

And, just like that, our story begins.

Logan was the first to show up. He sighed and checked his watch. It read 4:30. He leaned back on the couch and opened his book, reading aimlessly until a knock on the door got his attention.

He got up to answer it, opening the door to reveal a smiling, dirty-blonde young man with bright blue eyes and freckles dotting his cheeks like stars. He flashed a cheery grin when he saw Logan, extending his hand enthusiastically.

"Hi! You must be Logan! I'm Patton," he said merrily. Logan shook his hand, a hot blush working its way into his cheeks. He hadn't expected to feel this way upon meeting his new roommate.

"N-nice to meet you," he stuttered, ushering Patton inside. He walked past him, looking around the apartment they were soon to share with child-like enthusiasm. He was wearing khaki pants, a light blue shirt, and a cream colored sweater vest with glasses and white shoes. He spun around the living room, sitting heavily on the couch.

Logan sat down next to him, a straight as a board, quickly grabbing his book and flipping to a random page. His face was flushed red.

"Hey, you ok, buddy?" Patton asked innocently. Logan swallowed a lump in his throat, pushing his light brown bangs out of his dark blue eyes.

"I'm doing just fine, Patton," he said as devoid of emotion as possible. Patton smiled.

"Alright. We're friends, so don't be scared to tell me anything!" he said with a cheery cock of his head. Energy practically radiated from him.

The door opened with a sudden bang, and a tall, muscular young man with auburn hair and tanned skin stepped in the room, multiple bags under his arms and by his feet. He was incredibly handsome, and had bright green eyes that matched his charming smile.

"Good to see I'm not quite late," he said, setting down his bags and walking over to the couch. He ran his hand through his hair, sweeping it dramatically out of his face.

"You must be Roman! I'm Patton, and this is Logan," he said, shaking Roman's hand with a sunny smile on his face. Roman returned the smile, looking like a prince straight out of a Disney movie.

After a few minutes of sitting on the couch and talking, the door quietly opened behind them. A pale, skinny young man with a mop of purple dyed hair that covered his dark brown eyes stepped inside, averting his eyes to the ground and quickly walking over to the couch. He was wearing ripped black jeans, a purple t-shirt, a black and purple patched jacket, and black combat boots. Black eye shadow was packed under his eyes.

"Looks like someone didn't get much sleep," Roman said smugly, trying to hide the slight red flush arising in his cheeks. The man, obviously Virgil, smirked and sat down heavily next to Roman.

"Sleep has nothing to do with it, Princey. The bags under my eyes are designer," Virgil said, giving Roman a haughty side-eye. He raised an eyebrow, rolling his eyes at Virgil's silly nickname.

"Already giving me nicknames, Brad Pitiful?" he replied with a slight hint of scrutiny. Virgil scoffed.

"Jumping onto the bandwagon, I see," he said, looking around the room. The living room was small, and it connected to the kitchen. A few other rooms branched off from the main room, which were bedrooms and bathrooms.
