The car drive was
short as the police station was nearby your neighbour hood. Once you parked your car, you helped the two boys out of the car. Luckily, you had two small car seats for them because of your sisters kids, she had two kids who were both boys and nearly the same age. She has another boy who is just 1 years old. I'd love to elaborate on your sisters family but we should get back on the timeline.
"So, as a detective, I believe that these kids were abounded because their mother and father were young and had to keep their children a secret for whatever reason," The detective started as he looked over at the two boys sitting next to you. Namjoon was rubbing Hoseok's back soothingly and Hoseok was doing the same to Namjoon. "We are going to track down these 'parents' and arrest them for endangerment of their children and keeping their children off of the system." You nodded your head.
When you had told the receptionist of the police station, they had lead you to a room with a detective and a couple of officers. When you informed them of the situation, they immediately set to work to find the parents.
"Are we...Are we still going to stay with (Name)? I want to stay with her," Hoseok said suddenly, everyone was surprised. Hoseok hadn't talk the whole time so most were surprised to hear him talk - even Namjoon, he thought he was too shy to talk. The detective looked at Hoseok with a sympathetic look in his eyes.
"It honestly would be better for you to stay here with us police officers as finding your parents should take an hour or so, but, (Name) can stay here with you guys in here. Once we find your parents and get them into court, (Name) could decide if she wants to adopt you or not," One of the police officers said as he gave Hoseok a small smile. Your stomach grumbled, you were hungry. You slightly blushed in embarrassment and Hoseok and Namjoon giggled.
"Sorry, I'm just a little hungry," You said as the detective nodded his head with a smile.
"Would you like anything to eat? We can get something for you," One of the police officers said as you nodded your head eagerly. The police officer smiled and nodded his head and walked out to go to the cafeteria to get you a snack. The detective explained a few legal things about the situation, questioned the boys and then started searching with the hackers they had to find the two boys parents.
"I hope you don't mind a chocolate muffin, we don't have much food left in the cafeteria," The police officer who went to get your food said as he entered the room and gave you a chocolate muffin. You shook your head with a smile and said thank you before eating the muffin.
"(Name), are our parents going to go to prison? Where all the bad guys are? Like Joker? Is batman going to find our parents and put them into prison?" Hoseok questioned you and you chuckled. You finished your muffin and put the wrapper in the small, grey plastic bin beside you.
