SEASON 2 chapter 4

Akito's P.O.V

I was currently taking a bath, trying to ease my muscles from the amount of stress that I've been under lately. But for now, I'm just relaxing in this bubble bath humming a tune that i never knew yet sung anyway. I began to think about all of the events that happened for the past couple of days since I've been at the Mukami mansion. Especially what Azu-kun told be that i should be grateful for having Eve's blood, which confused me even more. I was enjoying the silence and peacefulness that came with me taking a bath.

Interrupting the peacefulness, Yuma came bursting through the door. I slightly jumped as the noise of the door opening shocked me a little. "What the fuck, Manbun?! You could of just knocked, unless you was hoping to see me bare naked~?" I yell as he ignores me to put his hands over his ears, "Shut up! Don't yell in the bathroom! The echo is so loud!" I scoff, throwing my arms in the air for dramatic effect. "Well, if you didn't just come barging in here maybe your hearing would be fine right now. And what are you doing here anyway?"

"Because I need to see you, why else? Come with me, right now!" He grabbed my wrist and tried to pull me out of the tub, I quickly grabbed the towel from beside me and began to wrap it round my slim waist. "Alright-Alright! Just at least let me get changed first, unless you'd rather me just come in this?" I gestured to the newly wrapped towel to which he blushes, yet an annoyed expression.

I was standing in the garden, I look in amazement of the decor and plants spread out. I hear footsteps behind me, and soon Yuma came into view. He smiled at me and then the garden, I noticed he held a weaved basket. I gave him a confused look. "This is my garden, and you are going to help me." He tossed the basket in my direction and I caught it just in time.

Yuma picks one tomato off of a stalk and inspects the fruit and chuckles a little, "Looks good." He places the tomato into the basket i was holding gently, which kind of juxtaposes his tough nature. I smile softly, "These looks really good, Yuma." He is caught guard by me calling him b his name instead of 'Manbun' but begins to speak in his default arrogant nature. "Of course they are, I grew them." "I thought vampires can only survive on blood, so there is no need to eat human food." I question in curiosity, instead of a rude remark he actually opened up to me.

"Because If we ever get stuck without food, we can live off these for a while. Yes, we can survive without blood, and won't die of starvation. But I like eating food. I don't mind growing them either. We were originally humans, after all." He crouched down to pick up a smaller tomato, I was kinda shocked. "You were human?" "Yeah, all of us brothers were." There was a few moments of silence between us.

He broke the silence by a few storks of tomato's crunching, "These aren't ready yet. If you don't take out the bad sprouts, the fruits won't grow big. Just like humans. Come on, get moving!" I stutter a "Shit-sorry." And keeled down next to him helping with the tomato picking. "Isn't it alot of work going out of your way growing this?" I tilt my head in curiosity as we both make eye contact and he lets out a dry chuckle explaining that, "Well, it wouldnt be useful just having a little bit of fruit. Though, back when I was roaming the slums, I would've happily wolfed down a single tomato."

"Slums?" "I used to live in the slums before I met Ruki and the other. It's not exactly a happy memory." He paused as I saw his face contort in pain and sadness, then he continues. "My friends at the time were killed, after all." I immediately place my hand on his shoulder for support. "And...if i hadn't of met him, I would've been..." Out of instinct i hug him. "They are an asshole. Whoever is 'Him'." Being surprised my my sudden affection he pushes me away and puts a small tomato in my mouth exclaiming, "What's with all the questions and affection?!"

I go to answer but realised he put a tomato in m mouth, I chew and swallow it and my eye lighting up at the taste. "Those are really good..." I trail off, Manbun smirks, "Right?" He begins to walk towards me pulling me up to my feet, he pulls down the shoulder of my sweater and bites into my skin. I try to hold down my moans, but Yuma wasn't having it. He grabs my ass, uprising me and uses this to grab my legs and hook them around his waist as he pushes my back on the outside wall of the greenhouse.

"Y-yuma!" I groan as I grasp onto his hair as I feel his cold hands clasping onto my thigh, as he takes another bite out of my shoulder. "Delicious. Come on, give me more..." He started to suck on my blood more harshly, and before I knew it I was passed out in his arms.

I felt myself waking up, I felt a comfortable surface beneath me. I was laying on a couch with a blanket wrapped around me, I open my eyes seeing the sun setting through the window and I see Yuma sitting across form me. "Finally, you are awake." He tells me, "Ugh, I don't wan't to move! My body aches!" I complain as I sink myself deeper into the couch and blanket, closing my eyes in content. "Tch. You're hopeless." I hear him unscrew something off of a lid and I hear footsteps coming towards me, then the couch sunk a little.

Opening my eyes once again, I go to speak. But Yuma appeared really close to my face placing some thing in my mouth from his. "There. Eat some of that." He gives me a genuine smile as I smiled back. "I'm sharing something really valuable to me. You better savour it" He then uses his thumb to place it further into my mouth to taste it. He begins to walk away, I realise the taste of it being a sugar cube. I look up at the ceiling while I doze back to sleep

No one's P.O.V

The four brothers were having a meeting to see if any of their questions has been answered. Azusa pricked his finger on a thorn of a rose on the table as the silence was broken by the question, "Well, Yuma? Any sign of the awakening?" Ruki asked as the rest of the brothers awaited for his answer. "None, nope. Maybe It's not enough." Yuma replied as the rest of the brothers were either frustrated or confused. Ruki goes to take a sip of his tea, but stops. "Yes. The Apple of Adam plan...we must accomplish the plan for him, whatever it takes. At any cost."
