Another day another extremely boring chemistry class. I sighed as the teacher told one of his usual 'ridiculous' jokes.
I carried on taking notes then the sound of the bell mused in my ears.
I finished taking notes and got up, heading outside to see Tyler waiting for me. He crooked a smile.
" 'Sup?" he asked popping the p.
"Bored now." I answered huffing.
He leaned over and rested his head on my shoulder and I froze.
"I gotta tell you something, I was gonna tell earlier but I got a even worse memory than Dori." he chuckled and lifted his head up.
"Remember Rian, the one I introduced you the other day, last night he told me he really liked you so is it okay to go to lunch the three of us, also.." he continued but I got lost as I watched his pink lips move.
His lips looked so soft and moist, I wonder how they would feel against my rough ones.
I just wanted to lean in and capture his lips with mine, but I could never do that, not when he is not interested not to mention I didn't kiss anyone before.
The thought had my face blushing furiously which I'm sure even my ears are colored red now.
"... stupid is he? What do you say?" he finished with a confused look.
"Huh?" was all I could manage when he stopes and pursed his lips.
"I told you all about the bar incident you wondered and you didn't even listen? Wow you are so lightheaded today." he said turning to face down the hall, gazing downstairs.
"S-sorry I'm just really tired today" I gave him an apologetic look. But he did not turn to see it.
Aw cmon don't do this.
I hesitated before I reached out and placed my hand on his waist, first I was not sure if he is going to freak out or not, I just brushed my fingers to the material of his shirt first then somehow put my hand on his side and draw him closer to me. I expected him to snap at me and call me disgusting for doing such thing but he said nothing, he just came closer and nuzzled his face to my shoulder.
I couldn't say a word because I was shocked from how close we were. I wanted to hug him but I didn't because I was terrified of his rejection.
We stayed like that for a good couple of minutes and I swear it was the best minutes of my life, though the bell had to ring and ruin our moment.
He slowly pulled away and looked at me for a second and I smiled at him but he said nothing and paced to his class.
**
Two days passed from our hug-ish moment with Tyler and we didn't talk very much since then.
Before the first lesson I was waiting for him to come so we could talk the awkward out of this friendship at least for now.
I heard his voice trailing and as I turned where the voice was coming from, I faced the most unpleasant view.
Tyler's arm was bandaged and plastered, he carried his bag which seemed to be far more heavy than he should be lifting right now.
"Tyler what happened?" I practically ran to him, taking his enormous bag.
"A rough night I would say, I tried to sneak out and tripped down to the garden from the second floor." he said casually and shrugged then winced.
"you are really stupid why did you.." I started to scold him but he cut me off.
"Bryce, don't worry the doctor said it would be okay in about two weeks, I just have to be careful, it's nothing serious, just a scratch." he said crooking a smile.
All of a sudden he hugged me with his good arm. I was stunned, I did not expect that, at all.
But after he didn't let go, I hugged him back with both my arms, resting my chin on top of his as I did.
And I swear I could feel the butterflies dancing.
