"When people constantly show their affection for you, you start taking it for granted. If you don't realize how much they care for you until they're gone;

you'll only be left with regret and remorse."

< MEI'S POV >

There's nothing more important to me than my kid, Hio Inoue. He's a hungry little devil, but I can't blame him. He complained he was hungry and seeing as my cooking skills haven't improved, I went out to fetch us some takeout. The night sky gave off a cool light breeze & seeing as it was the end of summer, the weather was littered with withered clouds. While walking through the lit alleyways and back, I noticed that I wasn't alone returning. A noticeably beautiful woman was standing underneath a lighting clenching onto her stomach, seemingly limping while trying to stand with support from a neighboring building. Of course, I wasn't scared as people always walk through this alleyway at night, but this woman was visibly injured and struggling from afar.

As I rushed to this woman with a bag of food over my shoulder, she seemed different from the get go. Her outfit was very formal; A white tabi with a white stash underneath her black hakama, something a royal family would wear in my opinion. But the Hayakita district did hold royal families, so honestly I didn't think anything more of it because the woman was near passing out. Putting one of her arms over my shoulder should have been enough support to carry her. You would think anyone, especially the injured would be thankful right? No, not this lady. The look on her face as I did help wasn't a face of gratitude, but more so as if she was noticed. Her eyes lit up with surprise; it wasn't even a second later until she passes out on me as we reached a few steps to my apartment door.

I unlocked my door, making sure to be as quiet as possible, who knew being sneaky would easy with a very semi heavy unconscious woman? Placing her on my couch, I noticed she was bleeding through her outfit, and as I slowly unravel her clothing: Jackpot! I find a big laceration across her stomach. The blood was too much, and lucky for her, if I never crossed her path she might've died cause so much blood was lost. I'm no medical expert, but I had no choice but to stitch her up myself. I rushed to the bathrooms cabin in my room and searched for a first aid kit I bought a while ago. Finding it, I hastily return to undress the woman as her blood was slowly starting to becoming a pool on my couch. Of course, I blush as her chest is out in the open, but it's not like I'm perverted or anything..! I'm a girl too but.. her's were so perfect..

Slowly, but surely all the stitches pierce her skin, and tightening the stitch made me want to vomit.. Halfway through finishing, she starts to move around, groaning while blinking slowly, but wildly.
"D-Don't move! The stitches haven't fully been done..!"
I urged her to stop squirming around while I was still going. She gave me a grim stare, like she was staring straight through my soul. It was hella awkward as you'd expect. Her boobs were still out and she was moaning in pain and .. I just hope my neighbors don't think too much of it..

As time passed, slowly but surely she began to groan less and less. As she laid on the couch, I made sure to clean up after the pool she was laying in. When I finished, I went back to Hio's room to check on him and there he is, soundly asleep. I sighed relief; seeing how loud this woman was, he just laid there counting sheep. Closing the door, I feel myself smiling on the thought of how adorable Hio was when he slept. Next door was my room, so I brushed through my closet to find an old yukata for the woman to change into while I washed her clothes.
