<A MEMOIR RECOLLECTION
BROUGHT TO YOU BY TOUBI FREEDELIA>

A meeting was scheduled for Captains and their respective Vice Representatives' this afternoon by our Head General out of no where, for what he called an 'optional briefing'. Hiroyuki Michio (みちおひろゆき) is the Head General of the entire Gotei 13 (十三); his name meaning harmony with the strength of three thousand men sounds fitting right? Well, sorta. He is the only Shinigami to live more than a thousand years, coming off as a quite frightening man but he is respected because of his wisdom and difference in strength between all Captains.

I've been a captain long enough to know that whenever Head General Michio calls for an 'optional' briefing, it really means that he wishes for us to put our business aside and attend the meeting. In layman's terms, they're actually mandatory to attend, no matter the reason behind the scheduled meetings. And by the sound of it, when the hell butterfly made it's way to notify me, Head General Michio sounded reluctantly different from his usual stern tone. The words rolled right out his mouth with clear softness in mind, refraining from any serious tone. Personally, it sounded like he wanted to share light news with us he'd have found interesting, which is oddly absurd as he ain't really a man of conversation...

Whatever the reason being for this unplanned meeting, he thought it was vital enough to share so I made a rash decision to drag my representative Reitaban while I still had her in my sight.

"Taichouuuu!!~~ I know my way to Squad 13's barracks..! Can you let me go pleeaaaseee! I'm not a child ..( ̄ω ̄;)~" She playfully squirmed as I held her by the wrist.

"You take too long.. and plus I know you weren't going to come, so I'm makin' sure you show up, idiot." I replied as I yanked her close to me and flash stepped all the way inside Squad 13's meeting room. Instantly, I let her go as she huffs and puffs her complaints at me in a childish manner until I get irritated of hearing her nonstop pouting; handing her a grim glare as I turned my head to face her.

"*Yare yare daze.. Urusai! Listen up you annoying woman! This will be quick, so quit acting like a child will you?! You, along with no afternoon sake, are giving me a headache!! Now go and stand on the wall, you idiot!!" (*Good Grief.. Shut up!)

I pointed my thumb towards the wall behind me and shut her up as soon as I got aggravated. Sighing loudly afterwards, I look around the darkened room and notice that I was the only captain to arrive solo, cause I saw the side profiles of both Head General Michio and of Squad 5's Captain, Aizen Sosuke happily chatting with each other. He had the most brightest, softest smile planted on his face while there next to him stood a small, tiny pale girl, with beautifully stretched out white hair and an uneasy expression. She had her full attention on me as her real pretty lilac eyes stared me down with angst.

What's her deal? She look like she scared of me or somethin'.

Whatever the reason she looked at me like that, she made sure to get Captain Aizen's attention as well, breaking up the chatting between him and the Head General. "Hm? What is it Ambrosia?"
