    Day Five: Sunday

It was so early in the morning that Bas didn't even want to get out of his bed, letting himself be taken hostage by the softest matress in the world (according to him) and the fluffy white as a sheet pillows with his whole being covered by the thick as the bed white blankets. With the air condition pulled up to the highest, giving off that soft relaxing cold breeze that makes his body shiver and want to hide in the cocoon he'd built through his shrugging and shuffling due to discomfort.

He pouted and looked at the digital clock placed on the night stand right beside the luxurious white lamp, bright red colors appeared blinding his eyes with the numbers it had showed him. 4 fuckin' 47. Great! Now he just wants to go out his dorm and bang the self-important jerk's door to wake him up so he can have some companion in his misery.

Unfortunately he doesn't have any rights to do that as it will only lead to an angry Tao and an angry him― which will lead to a continuous fights and arguments in which― someone had to give up. But unfortunately, both of them had there prides up so high in the sky almost reaching space up to the moon that none of the two would do such a ridiculous thing.

Bas sighed upon reaching to a conclusion. His line of sight darted on the familiar gadget beside the effin' clock and an idea seemed to have lit inside him as he was already reaching for it though he didn't give up his rights of comfort in the almost snowy room. He stretched out his arms and tried grabbing the phone from his original position. That means he's still hiding inside his cocoon.

He almost cursed the innocent phone for it's distance from him that only reached the end of his fingers before giving up in the end, finally deciding to move... an inch though. He successfully hooked the fish down and there he went to opening his phone, wasting no time and directly opened the message taping Tao's icon. The screen pooped up a message.

    [No New Messages]

Bas felt disappointed as he shut his phone down. There's was really no reason for him to be so excited about this day when the person you've been wanting to spend the rest of the day won't even reply for confirmation nor did the suspect for his betrayed feeling read the message invitation. Thinking about it, Tao didn't showed up in the meeting yesterday after the supposed lecture from the Director. Bas suspected something but shrugged it off, he was so done about Tao's dramatic behavior ever since the two of them got close a year ago. They knew each other better now so if the other has to say something then there goes that heart to heart talk they call. But damn, Tao had to make things difficult and seemed to shut him out... as usual.

He sighed for the nth time and at the same time his phone vibrated, the screen flashed that blinding brightness as the room was shut closed only leaving the lamp to give off the light in the room. After adjusting to the sudden brightness, Bas saw a notification on the screen. A message from a business associate whom he had― maybe met before. You can't blame Bas, he really has a hard time knowing people. Much less know the name of the person.

He tapped the icon and it directed him to the message. Lestin? A female... Lestin? Bas tried recollecting a memory of her from the past and dugged deep down his made up mind-library. Ahh... he deadpanned. That person!

    He read the message:

Nong' det! Gee you really took all my effort tryn' to find ur account...

Bas raised a brow and tapped his index finger on his phone's side. Nong' det? No one is supposed to call him that unless your a close friend or relative. Heck even his seniors wouldn't dare call him Nong' det. Is she trying to be  familiar with him when they've only met thrice? Shameless... just as he remembered her.

Well, I won't beat aroud the bush sooo I want you. No erase that I am ordering u to go out with me today! I'm meeting a friend and I want u to meet him. U'll like him just as much as u liked me d first time we've met. ^^

Truly shameless... though that offer of hers would be a good idea considering that he has an appointment with his supposed new research partner this day and he originally planned to ditch that Itthipat guy by hanging out with Tao. But Tao had to ruin his plans by ignoring his calls and messages... and this message from Lestin came into picture, what a perfect timing.

His perfectly molded pinkish lips curved into a playful smile as he typed out the confirming text. ❝Mmhp... I hope that guy wouldn't take this seriously or lest he'll lost our game of patience.❞
