"Good day madame. This is Leta Lestrange and I'm her..." Noah trailed off glancing at Tina who smiled sickeningly sweet.
"Fiance"
"Yes, of course. I'm her fiancé" Noah muttered with abnormally wide eyes. The old woman eyed them momentarily before looking down at the thick ancient book that lay open in front of her. Scanning the surnames, she nodded at them.
"Allez-y"
"Merci" Noah and Tina said at the same time, urging another awkward glance at each other. Without warning, Noah took her hand and dragged her towards the records room, ignoring the gaze of the old woman who was eyeing them suspiciously.
Tina eyed the man warily, "what's that for?"
"Our lie wasn't flawless," Noah ran a hand through his hair, "we need to get out of here fast— Lumos!"
Rows and rows of shelves carefully carved into trees that made it look like a forest made Tina gasp in awe. If only they weren't in such a difficult predicament, she would've stopped to stare.
"Lestrange" Noah whispers but nothing moved.
"Don't you know how to deal with this?"
"I'm just riding along. Last time I was here I was forced to stay outside."
"Well we can't exactly look at each of these!"
"I know! I'm trying to think!"
A loud bang made the two jump. Upon instinct, Tina pulled Noah as they hid behind a shelf. Noah cursed as he heard the familiar voice of Leta and he held his wand tighter. The giant trees moved around them and they held on the incoming tree.
"Records moved to Lestrange family tomb at Père Lachaise," Leta muttered as she read the card's contents. The box she was desperately looking for, missing. Glancing up, she noticed a faint shimmer which her eyes narrowed at.
"Circumrota"
The tree moved antagonistically slow as it rotated, revealing a barely hanging Noah and an awkward Tina.
"Hello, Noah."
"Hello to you as well, Leta. Aren't you supposed to be with Theseus?" Leta looked at him blankly before glancing at Tina.
"Hi," a series of growls cut Leta's reply as they all turned to look at the old woman from before walk with several cat like creatures along.
"And where's Newton when you need him?" Noah wistfully sighed as he held Tina's hand protectively.
"Stupefy!" The spell from Leta hit one of the creatures directly that caused them to multiply and growl more aggressively in turn.
"Oops?" She mumbled as she allowed Noah to drag her to the shelf stack he was in.
