Creedence stared off into space

Creedence stared off into space. A small uncomfortable feeling settled in his stomach and it hasn't went away since. Maybe it was regret. He abandoned the only person who actually cared and stood by him when he has nothing to offer. He left his adoptive parent who showered him with everything for his family that pretty much adopted him. It was foolish now that he think about it but there curiosity and desperation to find out what truly happened is eating him up. He made a small vow to himself. The moment he finds out who he is, he'll return to Sybil. If she will even accept him after siding with the evil that is.

"Is he frightened of me still?" Grindelwald asked in hushed voices as Queenie and Syden stood beside him.

"You need to be careful. He's not sure he made the right choice. He misses Sybil a lot. Be very gentle with him," Queenie replied in an equally quiet voice.

"Grindelwald," he shifted his gaze to Syden who immediately flushed at the attention, "if Sybil is with us, do you think he'll cooperate more?"

Grindelwald didn't respond but smiled mischievously as he turned around, "bring me Tobias."

The girls bowed before leaving to follow his order. Once he is sure that they are gone, he enters the room Credence is residing in and stops just a few feet away from him.

"I have a gift for you, my boy," he pulls out a wand that was intricately designed, similar to his previous one that he left at Sybil's house. Once again, he is filled with uncertainty. Sybil being the only thing that stops him from being insane and evil.

"You have suffered the most heinous of betrayals, most purposely bestowed upon you by your own blood.Your own flesh and blood. Just as he has celebrated your torment, your brother seeks to destroy you," Credence takes in a sharp breath. What did he do? A small chick wobbled to Grindelwald's palm and he threw it in the air where it bursted aflame.

"There is a legend in your family that a phoenix will come to any member who is in dire need," Credence eyed the bird in wonder as a phoenix stretches its wing above them, "it is your birthright, my boy. So is the name I restore to you,"

"Aurelius. Aurelius Dumbledore," was it from anger? Or was it from contentment? Either way, Credence turns around to face the window that displays the mountains surrounding Nurmengard and lofts his wand. A huge, overpowering curse flies through the air as it shatters through glass and breaks through mountains.

A gigantic amount of awe at himself was all Credence could feel as the previously uncontrolled power within him settled. Staring at his handiwork, he couldn't help but feel powerful and extraordinary.

"You sure you're not going?" Noah asked as he fixed his tie while Sybil laid cuddled under blankets and pillows.

Sybil hummed as she shuffled deeper into her haven,"yup. You go enjoy your time with your pals."

"Please. The Minister and his staff aren't my pals. It's unfair how you're off the hook while I'm reprimanded."
