Sam was in shock, the man was stuck on the floor, as still as could be. He turned around to see the shy kids top of the stump, his hand out, sweat dripping down his face. The black liquid from his hands began to seep towards the man, squeezing his throat. The body began to shake, fizzing out and reappearing, right behind Kaleb. He clasps his hands right around Kaleb's throat, slowly squeezing, turning him blue. He was slowly running out of the air, every second his eyes were moving up into his head. There was blood seeping from the cuts in his neck, each drop coloring the wood of the stump red. Then there was a loud bang from the woods. A girl riding on a ten-foot dog came running down, smashing into the old man. The man let g of Kaleb, letting him fall right next to Sam, he began to curse up a storm about the pain he was in. The dog, fearful of the man ran away, down a path into the woods near where the man was. The man looked completely disfigured, his eyes seemed to pop out of his head, there was blood running down his face. There was a massive gash on his forehead, oozing pus and blood. There was dirt on his clothes, and mud on his hair. He looked like an abomination, covered in muck and dirt. The man began to stand up, he had a look of anger on his face.

"God damn! Do you freaking mortals think you could challenge me? I don't have the time for this," He seethed. He got up from the ground, waving his hands, causing a beam of light to cascade down upon him, he began to rise as a flash continued to wipe the blood and pus off of his face. When he descended, there was no dirt or grime on his clothes. The man looked perfect, but he gave a look that could kill. He started at Kaleb, who was laying near Sam, coughing and covered with blood. The man turned around and walked away. Sam looked down at Kaleb, wiping the blood off of his neck before jumping back at the crash of a tree. There was a silhouette of a monster, slowly thundering towards them, each step shaking the leaves in the trees, causing them to fall down to the ground and shrivel.

"Frick! Not now! God damn, this is not what I expected my day to go!" Sam said, pulling Kaleb behind the tree. Sam quietly laid Kaleb down beside a tree, making sure the beast was not near. He slowly stood up, walking past the tree, into the monster's line of sight. The beast began to roar, and charge at Sam, throwing rocks and boulders at him relentlessly. Sam shot his hands up forming up a shield and causing the boulders to deflect. Every second he was slowly getting pushed back, one by one, the boulders were bouncing off of his shield, slowly wearing Sam down. He began to frantically look for options of what he could do to stop this. Sam jolted his head back when he heard the sounds of movement. Kaleb looked at Sam standing his ground and took this as an opportunity to get away. He shuffled around the grass, grabbing at the dirt. The monster heard his noises, shooting boulders at him again. Sam ran at him, shoving him out of the way. The boulder shot down one of the nearby trees, crushing his legs, pinning him down. Kaleb got up, he looked directly into Sam's eyes. He took a look at the beast, beginning to grab a boulder. Kaleb ran off, into the lands outside of the forest, leaving Sam behind. The beast slowly began to approach Sam, pinned under the tree. The beast walked over, lifting his hands up into the air, and shooting them down. Suddenly, a thumping noise was heard, the beast turned his head to look at the forest. A humongous dog slammed into the beast, throwing him against trees. The trees collapsed onto the monster, causing him to be immobile. As the dog ran back to where Sam was a little girl jumped off of him.

"Hi! I'm Holly!" The girl said before extending her hand out.
