Chapter 10: The Fight

It was extremely awkward inside the liquid shield. Holly was in the middle of the shield laughing while singing.

"Mister and Miss sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G! First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes a baby in the baby carriage!" Holly sang in such a high voice she caused everyone in the shield to basically go deaf. Holly stopped singing and looked at Frost and Sam in completely opposite corners and frowned. The sounds snow and ice cracking were muffled and the black liquid provided a dim setting, which Holly took as romantic. She sat down next to Sam and elbowed him.

"Do not throw away your shot! Come on, this is what your first girlfriend?" Holly teased. Sam rolled his eyes. 

"Whatever! Why did you do that Holly?" Sam lightly elbowed her. 

"Cause you two seem cute! Why would I not want two people to get together?"

"Cause maybe we don't like each other?" Sam said covering his head with his hands. Frost shifted back to her human form and looked at Holly while laughing. Holly turned to her and pouted. 

"Frost, do you like-like him?" Holly asked looking hopeful.

"No!" Frost turned red. She glared at Holly. 

"DON'T LIE ABOUT YOUR FEELINGS!" Holly aggressively stood up and bitch slapped the two of them at the exact same. That definitely flipped a switch in both of them. Sam lowered the liquid and popped Holly out and closed it.

"Uh oh, Baron, I think I may have done an oopsy." Baron put Holly near him so he could keep her warm. He curled around, shoveling snow onto a crack and laid down keeping Holly warm. Holly's eyes drooped down and she slept right on Baron.  

In the shield, there was awkwardness, in the air. Sam and Frost were just there off in their own corners. 

"I-is it me or is it hot in here?" Frost asked trying to start a conversation. Sam looked confused and shivered. 

"It's just you. It is really cold, at least to me." Sam continued to give a puzzled look at Frost, who was internally cursing at the stupidity her mind just went to. Sam opened a little window and looked at Holly and Baron.

"Looks like Holly is fine. What a kind thing to do." Sam said. 

"That's good, are you tired?" Frost asked. 

"I don't feel much so nope."

"Wow, edgy much?" 

"Hey don't blame me, I just make witty comments." 

"That's you trying to witty, oh God." 

"Hey, you trying to be tough was pretty funny to watch."

"Don't blame me! Your powers are much cooler!" Frost looks at Sam who closed the hole. He looked at the snow on the ground and picked some up. He fiddled with it before getting an idea.

"You know I have other powers right?" He gave a sly smile.

"Really! I assume it involves snow?" Frost's fox ears popped up. 

"Yeah, you could say that!" The shield of liquid dropped. 

"Wow I'm expecting it to be big" Frost looked closely at the ball of snow in Sam's hands. Sam rolled it around before throwing it right at her face. The snow splattered and covered her whole face. She smiled and grabbed some snow while shaking the snow on her face off. 

"Wow, such a cool power! Let me try!" Frost yelled while throwing the snow at his chest. Sam dropped down to the ground causing the snow to hit his face. Sam wiped it off shivering while attempting to grab more. Then he got an idea. The nearby snow turned black and flew at Frost who was running behind Baron. She grabbed some of her nubbed arrows from her quiver and put lots of snow on and shot right at Sam's head. The snow-wet his hair, dropping it down in front of his eyes. He brushed it back and threw more snow at Frost, pushing her off Baron. Then a huge ball of snow was above Frost, bigger than the cave they were in. Sam ran right next to her. 

"Ready?" Sam asked giggling. 

"Nope!" Frost said turning to run. Just as she turned around the ball of snow fell on all of them only the tips of Sam and Frost's heads were able to be seen. Holly woke up to the snow on her head and Baron launching her up out of the ground. She began to make snow angels while laughing. Sam and Frost pulled each other out from the enormous pile while laughing. 

"See told ya it would be fun!" Sam said trying to get some snow out of his hair and hood. 

"You just asked if I was ready but okay. It was fun though!" Frost said smiling and shivering slightly. She stood up and pulled Sam's hood full of snow onto his hair. 

"Payback bitch!" She said punching him in the arm.

"I just got snow out of my hair!" Sam said using his hands to try to get it out. Frost shook some snow out of his hair. 

"There you happy?" Frost asks with an annoyed tone. 

"Not really," Sam paused to throw some more snow in Frost's face. "Now I am!" 

"Wow so funny!" She said while rolling her eyes. Holly looked at the two and walked up to them. 

"This is why you would be a great couple!" Holly said smiling. 

"Yeah, we would be," Frost said under her breath so that no one can hear. 

"I don't think so," Sam said. "You can hope but I doubt it," 

"Wait, really!" Holly said. Frost gave a small sigh and looked at the ground. Sam turned around and saw a lot of cracks in the ground. While they were having their fight they couldn't hear the cracks being formed in the ice. When Sam looked at the biggest crack in the ground, with a finger poking straight up.
