~He recognised me~

Gracie's P.O.V

I was sitting on the bench in Adam's garden because I couldn't bare to stay inside and hear what they are doing. I wasn't outside too long maybe about 20 minutes. The front door opened and out came Adam and Amber. They were walking towards a car, I brushed it off and continued to mind my own business when I heard Adam's voice and he said "Hey is everything okay? " 

I turned my head around to where Adam was standing. 

I looked up and I saw the colour from Adam's face go.

The next thing he said to me  was "Gracie!?".

My eyes widen.

Gracie: A-Adam? y-you can s-see m-me!?

Adam: Oh my God Gracie you're here!!

I stood up to hug him.

Adam: Why can't I feel you?

Gracie: It's because I'm dead. I'm not physically here my sprite is.

Adam: H-How is this p-possible?

Gracie: I honestly don't know. it's frustrating. I'm so lonely, no one can see nor hear me apart from you.

Adam: Wow, I'm the only one!? that's crazy!

Would you like to come inside?

Gracie: I would love to! (even though I was already inside without your permission, oops!)

Adam was giving me a tour around his house.

He showed me his kitchen then he decided to sit on the kitchen table.

Adam: How you've been anyway?

Gracie: It can be tough because I get extremely lonely since no one can see me nor can they talk to me. when you think I'm not there I'm always there. It's quite refreshing that you can hear and see me. We can have a conversation together.

Adam: I wonder why I'm the only that can see you? I'm glad that I can talk to you and I'm sorry you feel that way. How long have you been in London?

Gracie: I've been in London since yesterday

Adam: Are you still living in Leeds? what made you come to London?

There is no way I'm telling my crush that I came to London to find him.

He has a girlfriend. 

I have to come up with a lie.

Gracie: My house is still in Leeds. I've been in Leeds since I died. 

But yesterday I came to London because I've always wanted to come here to do some sightseeing.

Adam: Since you came to London yesterday, you've must have seen me at the park today

Gracie: Yes, I did.

I was already at the park when I saw you. I was sitting on the grass

Adam: Did you come up to me while I was with my group of friends?

I did mention you in the conversation.

How could I forget, he mentioned me to his friends that I caught his eye when he was in college at Leeds. I don't want to make him feel  embarrassed so I decided to play it cool and act like I don't know anything.

Gracie: I only came up to you when you were leaving.

Aww, that's nice of you to mention me, how come?

Adam: It's your death anniversary tomorrow and I wanted to go somewhere and light a lantern for you.

Gracie: That is so sweet of you! I know you can't feel it but I am going to hug you.

Is it okay if I stay here with you?

I was staying at a hotel not too far from here but it would be nice for me to have someone to be here with me so I'm not all alone.

Adam: Of course.

Can you sleep since you're a ghost?

Gracie: I do so I can have energy.

Adam: I want you to get some energy so I'm going to prepare the sofa bed for you (he smiled)

Gracie: Thank you Adam (I smiled back)

Adam left the kitchen and went into the living room to prepare my bed.

He popped his head around the door to tell me that the sofa bed is set up and I can come into the living room. I got up and walked into his living room and the sofa bed was filled with lots of cushions and blankets which was so cute!

Gracie: Thank you Adam, you didn't have to!

Adam: I know but I wanted to. (He smiled)
