A/N 2023- I hope no one hates me for what I'm doing but, I wrote this when I was quite young. I didn't know any books that had any type of POC representation my whole life. I'm Latin-American and my whole life I've known books of the white MC and sometimes her/his/their poc side kick. So what I've done, I remade the main characters. Same names, different last names. My best friend chose the male mc😭 because she wanted to see an Asian character in here for her own self representation and I'm here for it tbh. So yea that's all. SAME STORY LINE! Just different envisions. Thats all.

Summary
After experiencing a terrible accident when she was younger and witnessing her best friend die in front of her, Belle Demara has closed off her heart completely to the idea of having friends or an actual relationship. She spends her time playing with the hearts of a few guys and then leaving them right after.
River Lee can't find the bad in people no matter how hard the situations get. He's always been called Mr.Sweetheart because of that. It's always been his mom and him due to his father leaving them but even though he left them with nothing he still can't resent his father.
When Belle meets River she can't help but think he's peculiar and finds herself building a friendship with him, but will Belle's demons get in the way of the idea of being with River?
