*She's OUR queen. I get her too.* Axel, my wolf growled. I just rolled my eyes and ignored him knowing better than to let him in control.
*She's scared. Give her time to adjust.* I blocked Axel after I made that statement.
When I look down I see my beloved mother taking the collar off. Which I wasn't to sure about. I relaxed as I noticed my beautiful mate just standing there. My relief was short lived as she took off running.
I was quick to shift. My bones snapped and popped into place and once the transformation was done there I stood. Tall with pure black fur and red eyes. I soon leaped into action and ran after my small mate. If she wants to play chase then I'll give her the run of her life.
Arabrlla's Pov
I took my chance to escape as he was seemingly busy with something else. My golden paws beat against the snow leaving my tracks. My wolf was fighting to gain control not wanting to leave. I didn't understand why she was so keen on staying.
It wasn't long before I heard the panting of another wolf and their footsteps. When I looked back I was filled with absolute terror. Staring back at me was crimson red eyes that belonged to the biggest wolf I have ever seen. My small legs ran as fast as they could, but it wasn't long before the large wolf was done playing.
He picked me up by my scruff treating me as if I was a pup, but he probably thought I was due to my size. I curled up as he carried me back into his den. He shifted making me close my eyes and looked away not wanting to see him naked. At least that's what I told myself. I soon felt the collar around my neck. "Be a good puppy and stay while I go to a meeting." He instructed seemingly annoyed as he left me there with Idonea.
