Chapter 20

*Hani's POV*

   I had fallen into the same place as Kaminari, Momo, and Jiro which was terrifying since we were surrounded by villains. We were in the mountain zone, a place with supposed higher elevation which was good for my quirk because that meant the clouds could come quicker and it would be easier to use them.

   But I was scared and just as Kaminari dodged a villain he ran over to me carrying something on his back.

   "Scary! Seriously, did you see that just now?" Kaminari asked looking back at the large and muscular villain. "I saw the River Styx, seriously!" Kaminari shouted. "What the heck is up with these guys? What's going on?!"

   "Worry about that later." Jiro said.

   Kaminari appeared beside her, holding a sword in her hands with Momo on her other side with a large staff. I cowered behind them, tears filling my eyes as Drizzle hovered above me waiting for me to do something.

   "Right now, we need to figure out how we'll get away from all these people." Jiro said looking around at all of the thugs around us.

   "Then give me a weapon too!" Kaminari said with a scared look on his face.

   "You're the electric guy, aren't you? Hurry up and take care of them." She said sweat dripping down the side of her face as she looked around.

   "He can't." I spoke up. "He can hurt you two if he uses his quirk, he doesn't have control of where the electricity goes." I said standing as straight as I could.

   "Yeah! And even if we wanted to call for help there's interference jammin' the signal. Listen you three, right now you can't count on me. I'm counting on you." Kaminari said giving a thumbs up.

   "You're a guy aren't you? Stop whining." Jiro said as a villain went to punch Kaminari who moved out of the way. "Then I'll use you as a human stun gun!" Jiro kicked Kaminari towards the villain.

   "Seriously idiot-" Kaminari bumped into the villain and activated his quirk immediately. "Oh, it's working. I'm strong. You three can count on me." He gave a thumbs up and despite the situation I smiled.

   "Hey, you're too happy-go-lucky." Jiro gasped and turned to find a villain running at her.

   "Stop messing around, kid!" He shouted. Jiro blasted her heartbeat and pummeled the rock he was going to smash her with.

   Another villain chimed in and punched Kaminari straight in the face getting electrocuted as well while another jumped in the air with two knives. Momo reacted quickly and tangled the villain in a net. I cheered and watched as the villain fell into the bundle of electricity clouding around Kaminari.

   "Both of you should take this seriously." Momo said.

   "Sorry, I thought it was a good idea at the time." Jiro said as a villain came charging at me.

   I shrieked and my fighting instincts kicked in. I grabbed his hand and twisted him around and onto his back keeping my foot between his shoulder blades as I snapped his arm back, just out of place before having to jump over him and try to avoid a knife being thrown my way. Jiro's pulsing heartbeat echoed around me and deafened a few of the villains around us.

   The knife cuts my cheek and more come to slice up my clothes enough that it was indecent. I ignored it and instead kicked my attacker in the stomach sending him flying towards the ground. I snapped my fingers and Drizzle, on cue, shocked him until he was passed out along with the other guy.

   "Nice move Hani-san." Kaminari gave me a thumbs up and I just nodded.

   "Kaminari, you should have requested something to help you aim in your costume order!" Jiro shouted.
