Chapter 18

*Athena's P.O.V*

Waking up the next morning I felt groggy and tired. Like I stayed up for too long. Which I did but that doesn't matter.

I climb out of bed and brush my teeth and hair before changing into my uniform. I water all of my plants and head into the kitchen where Nichole is already serving breakfast.

"You're up early." She comments with a smirk plastered on her red lips. "I'm nervous about today." She says. "We don't fully know what will happen but we do know one thing for sure." Nichole says handing me an omelette.

"I know, and it make me kind of sad." I pout shoving my filled fork into my mouth as Dad comes out of his room with his suit on.

"I'll see you girls at school. And be sure to be prepared for hero training today." Dad smiles and takes on his buff form heading for the door.

"Dad," I call after him standing to my feet. "don't get too caught up today okay. Meaning try not to save too many people on the way to school." I say.

"Stop growing poison ivy in your room and then we can talk." Dad smiled walking out of the house.

"Why are you growing poison ivy in your room?" Nichole asked through a mouthful of food.

"You never know when you need it. Plus they are really nice to talk to." I shrug filling my mouth.

We finish breakfast and quickly wash our dishes before heading off to school.

After Nichole and I sat down in our desk, I turn to Hani, who was already sitting down.

"I'm scared of what might happen today." I tell her in a small whisper.

"So am I... But we may get be able to stop some thing's from happening...right?" Hani asked hopefully.

"Like what? We might be able to stop some of the damage, but not all of it. We also can't interfere with Aizawa or 13 getting hurt. We only interfere when we need to." I murmur.

   She lowers her head a bit, then looks towards Peyton. I raise my head to look in that direction, only to see her looking out the window.

"She's been like that all morning." Hani says, breaking my gaze from Peyton. "When she left the house, there was in this sullen mood. She was looking down at her feet, she was silent the entire time." Hani says twisting a piece of paper around in her hands.

"Because she knows what's going to happen." Nichole whispers. "I say we try to ignore it, but stay safe." Nichole says as the front door opens.

We all stand to our feet then sit down once Aizawa stands at his desk. "Now for today's basic hero training." Aizawa said. "This time, All Might, myself and one other will supervise." Aizawa said staring straight ahead.

"Um, what're we doing exactly?!" Hanta Sero asked raising his hand.

"Preparing you for disaster relief, from fires to floods." Aizawa held up a card. "It's rescue training!!" He announced. The entire class fell into conversation.

"Rescue, huh...sounds like another rough day." Kaminari Denki said looking over at Mina Ashido.

"Right!" She smiled and pumped her fist into the air.

"Come on, this is what being a hero's all about!! I'm pumped!" Eijiro Kirishima said loudly.

"Not for long." Peyton mumbled under her breath. Nichole shot her a warning look but she ignored it.

"I'll be right at home in a flood. Ribbit." Tsu Asui nodded.

"Hey. I'm not done." Aizawa-sensei said from the front of the classroom. He clicked a button and the left side of the room opened up so that our cases came out of the wall. "It's up to you whether or not you wear your hero costumes. As some of them are ill-suited to this sort of activity. The training site is a bit remote, so we'll be going by bus. That's all get ready." Aizawa said glancing at Peyton.
