Chapter 15

*Athena's P.O.V*

   I looked around at everyone in their hero costumes then back to my dad, the symbol of peace. He had a bright smile on his face as he watched us line up. Once Izuku came out he looked a bit shocked and I laughed.

   "I can't wait to start." Nichole smiled flexing her fingers.

   "Shall we begin my wards!" All Might shouts happily with a chuckle. "It's time for Battle Training!"

   "We're all here then?" I asked looking around.

   "Looking good!" Hani held a thumbs up. She has on a baby blue over the shoulder shirt with a white sports bra and a pair of leggings without any shoes, instead a pair of fuzzy baby blue socks.

   "Ah! Deku?! Cool costume! Really practical looking!" Uraraka smiles adjusting her helmet.

   "Uraraka?...Whoa!" Deku looked Uraraka up and down with a bright blush on his cheeks.

   "I wish I'd been more specific on my request form...this suit's so puffy and curvy." Uraraka rubbed the back of her head nervously.

   "So is the girl wearing the outfit." Hani mumbles under her breath so only Peyton, Nichole and I could hear.

   "Being in the hero course is the best!" Mineta raises a thumbs up and I have the immense urge to punch him in the face.

   Deku looks highly confused. Ida raises his hand into the air and looks directly at All Might.

   "Sensei! This appears to be the same field used in the entrance exam. Will we once again be performing cityscape maneuvers?!" Ida asked with a strong and sure voice.

   "Nope. You'll be moving onto step two!" All Might claimed. "Indoor antipersonnel battle training. Villain battles are most commonly seen outdoors but statistically the most heinous villains are most likely to appear indoors." All Might smiles pointing a finger at us. "Between confinement, house arrest, and black market deals...in this hero filled society of ours the cleverest villains lurk indoors." All Might explains.

   "You'll be split into villain teams, and hero teams and face off in two-on-two indoor battles." All Might places his hands on his hips.

   "So no basic hero training?" Tsuyu Asui asked.

   "Practical experience teaches you the basics." All Might shakes his fist in his own face with a smile. "The distinction here is that you won't be fighting disposable robots. Listen up, here's the deal. The villains will be hiding a nuclear weapon in the hideout. And the heroes have to go in and take care of it." All Might says flipping through a small pamphlet. "The heroes will have a limited amount of time to either capture the villains or secure the weapon. The villains must either capture the heroes or protect the weapon until time is up. Your teams will be decided by drawing lots." All Might pulls a box out of nowhere.

   "Where was he hiding that?" Nichole asked me.

   "I don't really want to know." I respond.

   "Is that really the best way?!" Ida asked, clearly surprised.

   "Makes sense because heroes often have to team up with heroes from other agencies on the spot during emergencies." Midoriya mumbles under his breath.

   "So this really gives us somewhat of a chance to experience that. I mean we won't always know who we're up against or who we will be working with." Nichole says calmly.

   "I see...! I apologize for getting ahead of myself. My mistake." Ida says with a bow of his head.

   "It's fine! Let's just get to it." All Might smiles and we all draw lots.
