Skylars' P.O.V

I remember that I was cold, it was dark, and there was no one around me for miles. At least from what I could tell. The last thing I could see where red and blue lights high above me and the smell of sea salt flooding my nose.

My eyes flutter open only seconds at a time. The lights flashing brighter until I closed my eyes again. The sweet smell of salt was almost sickening as I felt weight bare my chest and my body as if it were soaked with led. The cold feeling dripping down to my toes and back up my body until I could feel the numbness in my lips and the stinging in my eyes was clear as the night sky above me.

"Ma'am, can you hear me?" A voice shouted beside me. I tried to respond but my voice was caught in my throat and my mouth was swollen. "Ma'am can you tell me what day it is? Do you know where you are?" The voice seemed to fade in and out as it continued to ask me questions and poke at my body until everything went black again.

"I'm sorry." I heard someone beside me, but I didn't know the voice. "She's gone."

Were they talking about me? Where did I go? Why am I no longer cold? I feel almost warm as something crowds my body. Suddenly I can't hear anything again, it's not cold nor warm, instead I can't feel anything. My eyesight is gone, I can't taste the bitter taste of salt anymore and I can't seem to find my voice.

   What happened to me?

Athena's P.O.V

"This is boring." Peyton whispered to me as class was coming to an end. "I thought it would be more exciting." She mumbled.

"Well we haven't really gotten to anything yet. Of course that's just because we're in middle school. Next year we'll be in high school and be training to become heroes." I said with a giddy smile as the teacher threw our papers into the air.

"Yes, yes you all have wonderful quirks. And I am sure that most of you are planning on going into the hero course, yes?!" The teacher asked as everyone in the room began to show off their amazing natural born talents.

"Ha!" A loud a boisterous voice booms over the crowd of students. "Don't crowd me in with these losers sensei. These lame extras will probably become side kicks to some busted D-Lister." Bakugou Katsuki gloats above the crowd.

"Ah, yes. Young Bakugou, you applied for U.A. The top hero school in the country." The teacher reads Bakugo's paper with squinted eyes.

"That's right. And I'm the only one in here able to actually pass those lame exams! So you might as well give up now because I am the best in this damn school!" Bakugou stands on his desk emitting mild explosions from the palms of his hands with a loud cackle.

Bakgou's loud laughter shook his entire body as his explosive blonde hair matched that of his quirk. His calloused hands emitting explosions big enough to engulf a small dog. The entire class began to cheer for him as Peyton and I sat off to the side of the room watching everything go down.

"Midoriya, you're applying for U.A as well yes?" The entire room goes silent as everyone stares at the back of the classroom where Midoriya Izuku was laying his head down on his desk.

His curly green hair bounced as everyone's attention turned to him. His freckled face went pale as the entire class began to laugh at him. Peyton and I stayed quiet when the group of students began calling him names.

"Alright class quiet down." The teacher finally said after a good minute.

"I hate the part that comes next." I whispered in Peyton's ear. "It always makes me feel terrible." I continue when the teacher turn his attention to me.
