Chapter 13

"Yeah, Kai. He is my boyfriend. We have been in relationship for 3 years now."

"What?" Lisa spoke the word with difficulties. Jennie's sudden confession made her speechless.

"You heard me. I have been alone after Tae left me. I needed to be loved again. I needed someone who can disappear my loneliness and give me happiness. And always there to take care of me and my baby. That's when I met Kai. He is the sweetest guy ever. He loved me even tho I am a widow and I have a baby."

"Why-y you never told me about h-him?" Lisa asked. Her voice is shaking.

"Telling you wasn't important for me. Now to think about it I think I made the right decision by not telling you. Otherwise you would have ruined my beautiful relationship also. I never thought Lisa you will be like this to me."

"Jen-"

"You don't need to say anything. I just wanted to be independent and thought you will help me. But I was wrong."

And then Jennie started to walk towards her room but suddenly she stopped and looked back and said,
"Tomorrow I will leave this condo with Lilly for good. To be happy again. To live with the person who loves me and who I love. And who can be good father to Lilly."And then she left for her room.

After Jennie left. Lisa didn't know what to do. How to react. She wanted to confess her feelings to Jennie but Jennie hates her so much now that she's leaving. She couldn't believe that Jennie just found another love. She will never unite with her no matter how much she tries. And that hurt her so much that she wanted to scream but even tho how much she wanted to scream nothing came out from her mouth. She started crying silently.

Next morning

"Please,mommy I don't want to go away from buddy."

"Lilly, you need daddy right? Soon you will have your daddy. But we must leave the house for that."

"But mommy-"

"No more talk. Just go and check if you're leaving anything. I don't want to come back here again."

"Happy birthday, buddy." Lilly whispered while hugging Lisa.

"Thank you, baby."

"Buddy, you will come to visit me right?"

"Yes, baby of course." Lisa lied knowing Jennie will most possibly won't let her meet Lilly anymore.
They broke the hug. And after that Lilly left with Jennie.

It was heartbreaking for Lisa. Not only because Jennie was leaving but also because Lilly was leaving. She saw Lilly growing up from her birth. How will she stay away from the two persons she loves the most? She wanted both of them in her life. But maybe it's her fate to known by Jennie's just best friends only?
