Isabelle's Pov

It was six in the morning when I woke up. Stretching as I got out of bed and looked around to see if anyone else was up. I wasn't surprised to see that I was the only one up. I walked over to where Aidan was sleeping and shook his shoulder to try and wake him up. "Come on Aidan you're the bloody captain and you need to sober up." I said shaking his shoulder harder

He started to stir and looked up at me with a confused look. "Why the bloody hell are you waking me up? What time is it anyway?" He sat up in his bed and stretched, his bones popping back into place "It's six in the morning. Training starts at eight and if the coaches saw you in this state of a hangover, you'll be benched for the world cup and we all know you will set everything on fire if that happens." I retorted as I walk over to the washroom to take a shower

As I finished my shower and put my items away in my trunk, I finally saw Aidan shove himself out of his bed and into the showers. I got my practice robes on, grabbed a broom for the broom closet, and went out of the field to stretch.

Working with dragons I have always had a knack for flying. While away from the dragon village, riding a broom is the next best thing. I am the proud keeper of the Irish team. While I was trying out for the seeker position a year ago and the coaches saw my potential but were worried that if they put me as seeker my years playing would be numbered, as I am quite reckless when it came to my health. So, they ask me to try out for the keeper position. It was the best thing that they ever did too! I had a lot of speed and strength that had aided me in the spot and has given me so many opportunities to travel and meet new people and cultures.

One of those friends is the young Seeker Viktor Krum. He plays for the Bulgarian team in which we are to play in twelve days. That gives us nine days practicing at our home Quidditch Pitch and one day at the world cup Pitch. It's both nerve-wracking and exciting to think about. The two youngest players in the national league, head to head, to see who the youngest Quidditch World Cup champion would be.

As my other teammates started to trickle out of the bunk room, I hopped onto my broomstick and started doing laps around the Pitch. I was fooling around by doing areal tricks and playing around with doing the Seeker Diversion, the Wronski Feint. I ended up scaring the ever-living crap out of Lynch and the coaches when I did that move a few times, but just as I did that I was signaled to come down to the rest of the team and coaches.

I landed softly on the ground and jogged over to the huddled group. "Good morning everyone! We hope you guys didn't party too hard last night, but we are in crunch time. We have eight days to practice and brush up on our skills and after that, we are heading to the World cup! Now go off with your respectable coaches and get to work! Ryan, I'm going to be working with you today got it?" Coach Murphy said and everyone nodded "well don't just stand there get going!" We all dispersed into our groups and I walked over to Coach Murphy and my personal coach Sullivan

"See you've been up for a bit Ryan. Excited or nervous?" Coach Sullivan said getting ready to mount his broom to fly up to the goalposts

"Both actually. I had to start early to get all my nerves out. Even if it meant practicing tactics, I will never be able to use in a real game." I replied as I got onto my broom and started to fly up "Well Ryan all I ask is that you don't hurt yourself before the big game. We don't have a backup for you. You have been the best Keeper in our team's history." Murphy said as he flew up to us where we waited at the goalposts "Yes coach!" I replied saluting him right before we start to practice

Sullivan would give me tough shots and tick shots to defect and even the Chasers came around to practice with me a bit. This is how our eight days of practice went: wake up, shower, get some breakfast, train, get lunch, scrimmage, eat dinner, take another shower, and head to bed. Our last day at the pitch was spent getting all our items and sports items together and sent off to the world cup tent that we were staying in for the time that we would be there. I had gotten all of my items together, my keeper gear in its duffle bag as I was going to send the rest of my personal items back home with Charlie's family, who would be able to send it to Charlie with the care package he gets at the beginning of every fall since I already have all of my school stuff in my dorm. All I have to bring is my gear and Zukag.

The Weasley's are such a sweet family. They have always treated me like I was one of their children. After losing my parents at a young age at the dragon village, I was raised by the older dragon keepers there. Once Charlie got there, he was like the brother I never had, and he treated me like I was just another sibling. Molly has always been worried for me and my safety, but we reassured her I was fine.

I was able to get Zu into his traveling crate and was able to whisk him off with my trunk to the growing pile of trunks to be delivered. I kept my small rucksack filled with some clothes to change into tomorrow morning before we apparated to the campgrounds. I'm still dumbfounded that we are going to be playing for the whole wizarding world to hear, or see, in only four days. I hope I would be able to spend a little time with Viktor before the big match.

I honestly don't understand where the time went but here goes nothing this week.
