Isabelle's Pov

We apparated to the Quidditch World Cup location at eight in the morning on the 23rd of August. I was dumbfounded at how grand the stadium was. Easily six times bigger than the Irish stadium. We quickly found our team's tent and settled in. I just sat my trunk by my bunk bed and let Zukag out of his crate, to which he happily climbed to my shoulder and sat there.

"I'm going to go explore and meet up with some friends! I'll be back by supper." I exclaimed to the team as I skipped out of the tent going to see if I could find Viktor

I walked around the team village which is comprised of five tents. One tent each for the actual quidditch teams, a tent for the coaches, and finally a tent in which we were going to use as a dining hall. For me, I think that's a little extra for just Twentyfour people, but I guess we worked our butts to get this far, why not get to relax for a little while? I quietly traveled my way to the dining tent and grabbed myself a healthy and hearty breakfast. I had grabbed a large bowl of oatmeal with some brown sugar and cinnamon apple chunks, a fried egg on toast, along with a tall glass of water. I brought all my food over to the end of one of the tables and got settled down. Zukag was taking a nice nap on my shoulder, since he already had breakfast this morning, kept me company as I slowly ate through my breakfast. I was starting to cut through my toast and egg as I felt a tap on my shoulder. I put my utensils down and turned around to find my dear friend Viktor behind me. I jumped up and gave him the biggest hug I could muster, forgetting the Zu was on my shoulder fell on to the floor in shock at what had woke him up.

"Viktor, I haven't seen you in forever! How are you? How as training gone for you? Are you ready for the final match?" I quickly spouted out questions as we moved away from the hug and sat down at the table, I was at

"Calm down Belle! I'm fine, training has gone well, I'm as ready as I can be when it comes to the match, and I think your poor dragon is having a fit on the ground." Viktor responded as he looked at the silly dragon huffing puffs of smoke from his nose that he had gotten woken up "Oh come on Zukag. You can fly back onto my shoulder. I won't do any more abrupt movements while you're with me you silly little dragon." I said shaking my head as the silly dragon flew back up to my shoulder and settled back down

"Anyways. You know that one move, the Wronski Feint? Well, I think I've gotten it down to a tee now. Before practice would start, I would practice trick shots and that was the one I would work on the most. Of course, scaring all of the coaches' half to death." I went to grab my glass of water and Viktor quietly chuckled

"You know you have always been the morning person in our friendship. Also, to answer your question the Wronski Feint is my best move to this day. Just don't say anything to your teammates. That would be cheating." Viktor joked around and stole my toast from my plate "Anything said is staying with me to the grave. You know that Vik." I retorted as I continued to eat my fried egg.

"I still wished that you went to Durmstang Belle. You would make going to school a whole lot easier. We would even be going to Hogwarts together this year." he said slowly chewing the piece of toast "I don't know why I was sent to Beauxbatons. I guess my parents had it in their will or something like that. But I'll also be there at Hogwarts this year. Why wouldn't Madam Maxime bring her star student with her? I'm just a trophy in her eyes while I'm sure I know who she is wanting to be a part of the tournament." I got up slowly and went to discard my plate and cup not hungry anymore at that thought

"Well, Vik it was nice to catch up with you and I guarantee that we will talk more as we get to school but I think my team will think I'm telling you all of our secrets if we stay together any longer and let's not mention the tabloids. See you in the pitch, Krum."

"Right back at you Ryan."

With that, we both went our separate ways and practiced each day until it was the night of the Quidditch World Cup.
