Isabelle's pov

I had spent the rest of my school day out in the forbidden forest clearing out a large area for the dragon crates. It was a lot of dead brush cleaning and moving fallen trees with some simple magic. I had gotten only a small part of my work done as I did not want to overwork myself.

By the time I was finished for the day it was around the time to go and get dinner in the great hall. I skipped through the courtyard and into the great hall. There was a lot of chatter going on about the students who had put their name into the goblet. I shrugged and guessed that I missed everyone putting their name in the cup.

I went over and sat down next to Viktor and his friends and started to pile food onto my plate. "You're not in uniform belle. What do you do after lunch?" Viktor asked while digging into his chicken and mash potatoes "I was working on a special project for the near future. Can't tell you much about it, you know how much the Ministry loves their secrets." I quickly tore into my food feeling the pains in my stomach subside at the food filling it

"Yeah. I remember you practically work for the ministry this year. Do you ever take a break from work?" He mumbled to me after a bit His friends were engrossed in a conversation about their classes I gave him a light chuckle and looked over to him. "If I keep busy that means I won't get bored and I won't have to deal with fanboys." I replied looking over at a Hufflepuff table crowded with boys staring at me "Honestly Vik I don't understand how you can deal with fans."

"They're pretty handy to pass the time if you know what I mean." He said with a sly smile and a wink I gasp at his response and lightly smack his arm. "That is utterly fowl to joke about Viktor! Please tell me that that isn't really your opinion about fans." He shook his head as the last of dinner disappeared from the tables. "For someone who lives with men and quidditch players for half of the year, I would think that you would be more used to prude jokes like that but to answer your question I don't think that way. I would much rather have honest relationships with women than flings." He finished just as Dumbledore got to the podium

"Just a reminder students that we will be naming the champions for the tournament in an hour." and with that, we all dispersed from the great hall.

I followed behind Krum and his group of friends down to the Slytherin common room. Just as the boys sat around a study table I went over to the staircase and went to my room. Working outside has put a layer of dirt over myself and I also needed to get into my school uniform to be "more unified with the school." I took my uniform and head off to the bathroom to take a quick shower. Taking some time taking a shower and drying my hair. By the time I was  done getting dress we had about thirty minutes until the names were to be picked. So I decided to wander through the halls.

My footsteps echoed off of the walls as I walked the first floor. Passing small groups of students from each school as I pass a courtyard walking back to the great hall where students have already gathered. It was rearranged so everyone could see the cup that was in the middle of the room, still aflame with a magical blue flame. There where four tables before the cup and four tables after the cup. The space where the cup was they had also put two risers against the walls. I quickly scanned the room and saw where both Durmstrang and Beauxbaton have grouped together. Catching Viktor looking at me I gave him a wave as I sat down at the end of the table where my school decided to sit down at.

As I had sat down Barty Crouch Snr. walked over and passed a small note over to me. I quickly read over the note and gave him a nod. All it said was to meet in the trophy room after the champions were named. I slipped the note into my uniform.

"Sit down. Please." Dumbledore said as he motioned to a table everyone in the hall quickly sat down wherever they could "Now the moment we all have been waiting for. The champion selection" he said dimming the fires that illuminated the hall

There was a pregnant silence as he walked up to the goblet and put his hands upon it just to walk over to the risers where the students of Durmstang sat. After a few seconds the brillent blue flames turned ruby as the goblet spat our a slightly burnt piece of parchment. Dumbledore grabbed the floating paper and turned it so he could read it "The Durmstrang champion is Viktor Krum!" The hall erupted with cheers from Viktors friends as he stood from the riser to go to where I assume the trophy room to be

The flames lit ruby again as a delicate ring of paper flew out of the goblet. The center sindged away and the gold edge torn slightly he lightly skims the paper and declares "The champion of Beauxbatons is Fleur Delacour!" My table erupted in light clapping and cheers as she got up from the table to shake hands with the headmaster.

Quickly the Hogwarts champion parchment flew out of the goblet and he cheerfully exclaimed "And the Hogwarts champion is Cedric Diggory!" The boy got up from his table and walked over to the other champions greeting a few students on the way

As he was leaving for the trophy room I quietly got up from the table and over to the doors in which the students headed off to.

"Excellence! We now have our three champions but in the end only one will go down in history. Only one will hoist this chalice of champions, this vessel of victory. The tri-wizard cup!" The fabric covering the cup was magically pulled off to reveal a glimmering cup. As everyone was clapping a profession walked closer to  the tables as he looked at the goblet in confusion. The blue flames went wild just as Dumbledore closed in on it. The flames turned a vicious red and a paper was thrown out.  "Harry Potter." he said quietly  "Harry Potter. Harry Potter!" Dumbledore got increasingly louder as the boy meekly got up from where he was sitting to go over to the trophy room.

Sorry guys for it just ending abruptly! For some reason this chapter literally took me months to do. Man by golly this was a hard time wise to do. First of all I want to thank everyone for reading! At this point there has been 500 reads, 25 votes, and 9 additions to reading list and I never thought I would even get a story on someones reading list!

I do have to say I am in my finals week for the college things. My school is weird wont end until the 16th of December and yes I hate it. That being said I am also back at home. There was many factors in me coming home a few are: My dear cat Rye passed away while I was out at school. I had a feeling at the beginning of the semester that one of my pets would pass away but I never thought it would be my cat. He stole my heart and was my best friend. Also I could finish my semester at home all online. And my parents wanted to go visit my grandparents for Thanksgiving. We were all safe during our travels and we did quarantine! I promise!

So with the holidays, school, and dealing with personal issues I hope to update maybe twice a month. I think that is doable for me but who knows! I'll keep y'all updated on that. I do have to say everything you say or do with this story makes my heart flutter and the questions roll through my head as to "Am I really good at writing?"

Okie I'm rambling at this point. I love every single one of you. <3
