Cal didn't say a word to any of them when he showed or when he left. He went there purely because Jonah and he got Jonah, so it was time to leave. If it wasn't for the other wolves, he probably would've killed to person who hurt Jonah. But Cal didn't want to let go, he was in too much pain.
The Match Ceremony wasn't much of a ceremony. A vampire's soul would leave their body for however long it took to find their match, it was a private thing. Normally one would start far and make their way home but sometimes they catch them right away. Some people found that it was a good thing, they could find their true love, their one and only, in the snap of their fingers.
It wasn't a good thing. The only way that happened is if their match was is a dire situation, if their life was endanger.
This was how Cal found his match. He had broken the glass of his window when he jumped out of it, heading for his match, for Jonah. Cal wished he didn't have to find Jonah like that.
They were back at Cal's house after he sped off, Cas could handle the rest. Jonah was still wrapped snug around him as they made their way up the stairs. When they arrived at their room, he couldn't decide between just putting him to bed or jumping in the shower.
Jonah was tired, he needs rest, but Cal's eyes were still red. The ceremony wasn't complete and with Jonah bleeding, that was a problem. So, his decision was made. He took Jonah to the bathroom and stood in the shower, letting the warm water flow. He didn't remove any of their clothes and Jonah didn't move at all.
The scent of blood was still strong, but Cal was finally able to force his voice out, "Jonah?"
Jonah dug his head into his Cal's shoulder and after a minute, unfolded from him. He made his way to Cal's dresser and pulled out a pair of pajamas. Cal pulled out a pair of boxer briefs and a shirt before backing away.
Jonah looked over as he pulled on the pajama shirt, it was a bit damp because he hadn't properly dried off after removing his soaked clothes, but he didn't care, "Cal? Aren't you staying?"
"Uh... no... uh. I'm sorry Jonah, but I just can't be here." Cal pleaded and watched as his face fell.
"You think I'm useless too. You're casting me aside. That's okay." He headed toward the door past Cal, "I'll-"
"No!" Cal growled angrily.
Jonah snapped his mouth shut and froze in place, stiffening up. He tried to swallow his nerves. Why does he always make a mess of things? Tears began to fall.
Cal tilted his head as he stepped closer, catching the shine of Jonah's eyes, before pulling him into a tight hug. It was a struggle to hold back, but Jonah was his first priority.
"I'm sorry, I was upset that you would think that."
"Then why?" Jonah sobbed.
Cal swallowed, "You're my match, my mate, and we haven't completed the ceremony. That and you have open wounds, I don't want to force you into anything."
"What?"
Cal pulled away slightly to meet his eyes, "It's your blood. In a match ceremony, I'm supposed to drink some of your blood."
Jonah starred onto his eyes for a painful moment, "Is that why your eyes are red? Then that's fine, go ahead, just don't leave me by myself."
"I'll stay but I wont bite you, not like this." Cal whispered, setting his chin on top of Jonah's head as Jonah cried into his chest. He was in for a painful night but holding back that pain was a single thought:
'My little wolf.'

Lucas couldn't do anything as Cas dragged him and Res from his home by his sleeve. Cas' jaw stayed locked on his sleeve as they went through the forest. Res held tightly to Lucas as he watched Cas, he made this happen.
Lucas could hear a slight whining from his brother and attempted to comfort his as they walked. As his focus shifted to his brother, he didn't notice his pant sleeve get caught on a branch.
The second the brothers hit the ground Cas whirled around with a growl, checking for any sign of danger. His eyes settled on Lucas who had Res hugged closely to his chest. Lucas used his legs to put distance between himself and the angry wolf.
Cas eyes followed Lucas' movement and only when Lucas' back hit the wall did Cas notice what he was doing. Cas' ears lowered as he let out a whine. With his head down he trotted over to Lucas and pushed his head against his back lightly to get him to stand.
When they finally got to the house Cas pushed them up the stairs and into his room. It doesn't bother him that Res was in there because right now he needed to protect the pup and his mate, and it'd be easier if they were in the same room. Lucas looked questioningly at him when they crossed the line, like he was expected Cas to jump at him, it only sent another wave of pain through him. When Cas had yet to move, Lucas gave up and went to collapse in bed, he was exhausted and by the looks of it so was Res as the pup's eyes were already shut.
Tucking himself and Res under the blanket, Lucas sparred a glance at the wolf but as soon as the wolf looked back, Lucas turned his head to his brother.
Cas whined silently as he jumped on to the bed and curled up at the end, remaining in wolf form. Lucas refused to open his eyes when the bed shifted, and Cas had no choice but to put his head down and wait out the rest of the night.
