Race, religion, skin colour, traditions and beliefs are just few differences of us citizens of the world. Let's not make diversity became the hindrance of our happiness.

I'm Siddharth Singh, a thirty year-old bachelor from India. My family and friends calls me Sid. And I am working at HCL Technologies as a Consultant.
HCL is one of the leading IT company founded in India and it has more than one hundred branches all over the world already.
I am currently assigned here in the Philippines for two years. And luckily, I have found a nice flat to live in.
I'm just two days here so I am still adjusting at the time differences, (Philippines is two and a half hours advance in India.) food, weather, everything.
But the people seemed nice so I think I'll enjoy my stay here.
My work schedule is from ten AM to eight PM. I hate waking up early to cook food. Most especially I hate arriving home with no food.
So I've decided to hire a stay out maid to do the house chores for me. It's better to spend a bit for someone else's services rather than making myself more tired.
I am not boasting, I just wanted to be practical.
Luckily, my landlady recommended someone and I thanked her for that.
For the past days, we've been exchanging notes because she always left before I got up and even before I came home at night.
She always cook yummy foods for me and I got curious about this girl so I asked my landlady about her background. What she told made me admire her even more.
Her name is Anne and also a tenant in this apartment. She's working as a project manager in a construction firm. But then she's still working for me part-time to earn more for her family.
We do exchange notes and text messages but it's different when we finally meet the person. So one day, I intentionally got up early to finally meet the mystery girl.
She was so passionate arranging my food and didn't even noticed my presence. I am watching her carefully. Her body is just right for her 5'4" or 5'5" height.
Her nose is not so high but it looks perfect for her round face. Her eyes seems smiling. She looks innocent.
And ohh her lips..
Those pinkish lips...I felt like kissing them.
Wait! What?
What am I thinking?
I was bothered by my thoughts when she suddenly noticed that someone was looking at her.
We're just starring at each other for like thirty seconds until she spoke.
"Uhmm Boss, did I made some noise to wake you up?" She asked while scratching her forehead. She looks worried.
But why it seems cute for me?
"Ahem, no no you're not. I woke up a bit early for an appointment."
Yeah I lied!
But why?
I'm not usually like this though.
Since then I was stalking her social media accounts like a creep. I am slowly discovering this girl and I wanted to know more.
She unconsciously made a special spot in my heart especially during that one night.
She didn't hesitated to nurse me when I got sick.
We started hanging out as friends since then and I discovered a lot about her. We even got closer up to the point that we already shared our personal stories to each other.
She's kind, sweet and caring. I don't know when but I think I started falling in love with her.
To make the story short, I confessed my feelings towards her because I got jealous seeing a guy sleeping in her flat that turns out to be her best friend.
I felt relieved and happy when she told me that he's gay. And that she felt the same towards me.
We've been happy with our relationship. I got the chance to meet her family and she also met mine through video calls.
But we both felt devastated when my two-year contract has ended and I need to go back in India.
It was so hard for me to leave her but I don't have a choice. We both love each other so we promised to never give up on our current situation.
There were only few who survived long distance relationship and I was tad worried about it.
I felt grateful because Anne is such a patient and understanding woman. We used every social media applications just to communicate with each other.
Slow internet connection is such a pain in the ass.
After two long years, she surprised me during my birthday by coming here in India. And I was so happy because of that.
Months later, I also did the same.
I asked her to marry me on the apartment's rooftop. The special spot where we used to hangout before. Both our families were present. Even our landlady was there.
After few more months, we finally said our "I do's" twice.
In the Philippines during our Christian wedding and in India during the traditional Hindu wedding ceremony.
I never imagined myself getting married twice, in two different countries with the same woman I love.
I am an Indian, she's a Filipina. I'm a Hindu, she's a Christian. I'm a vegetarian and she's not. I have my own beliefs and so does she.
We may differ in race, religion, culture and beliefs but still, God paired us for a reason.
We had a long journey and it's worth it.
