Chapter 9 - That's some Berry good fighting

Blue's POV

I woke up to the sound of Jaiden freaking out. I don't know what happened, exactly, but I was about to find out.. until I noticed something. Error, in his sleep, was cuddling up to me. I nearly squealed. It was so cute! He looked so peaceful asleep too... I didn't want to wake him up.

So I did the next best thing - I turned around in bed, hugged him, and held him tight. Nuzzling my skull against his, I let Error's warmth help me go back to sleep. Eventually, a comforting darkness engulfed my conscienceness... And I fell asleep.

Jaiden's POV

Okay okay, what the actual hell?! A skeleton the size of Error that wasn't him? HOW MANY SKELETONS ARE THERE?! AAAAAAA-

I took deep breaths, trying to calm my frantic mind. So, I'm friends with 'Nightmare' now? Ok, that's cool. Next time I nap I'll have to ask him how many more skeletons there are, because I'm sure as hell confused.

I put the circlet around my wrist and twirled it, whistling. I heard something from Error's room, so I peeked in the door.. and had to stop myself from squealing. They were cuddling! I took out my phone and snapped a photo, sending it to Error. His phone was on silent, it wouldn't wake him up.

I wondered if I had Nightmare's number saved, and just then, an unknown number texted me. Surprise, surprise, it was Nightmare. Looks like I gave him my phone number instead of the other way around. I texted him, "lookit the lovebirds ;3" along with the pic. Not long after, he replied with "hahahaha omg im saving that as blackmail". The dude has my exact sense of humor, I swear to OneyNG.

Going downstairs, I grabbed some bread out of the fridge and put it in the toaster. I then remembered the circlet, and decided to hide it at my sentry station. Teleporting there, I put it behind the hotdog buns, then I came back just in time to see that the toast was ready. I buttered both slices, put one on a plate, and ate the other one. I then walked back upstairs to wake up my brother.

Error's POV

Jaiden was calling down her brother. Being the fairly light sleeper I am, I woke up at the first sound of her yelling from downstairs. I opened my eyesockets to see Blue right in front of me.

I had been hugging him in my sleep.. oh Destiny why me.

I noticed a text on my phone and it was a picture of us snuggling, taken from third person. Well Jaiden I'm gonna get blackmail on you too! Er, someday...

I poked Blue's skull with the tip of my finger, aiming to wake him up. He groaned lightly and I grinned, poking his side this time.

He sat straight up, yelling "I'M AWAKE!"

I laughed, saying, "Breakfast's downstairs," and pointed to the bedroom door. He jumped up and opened the door, rushing down. I, myself, slowly peeled myself off the bed, walking downstairs.

Breakfast was toast. Honestly, not all that bad. I didn't expect anything special so I wasn't necessarily disappointed. It was the first thing I'd eaten in a while and I savored every bite.

Blue's POV

Yay! Toast!

I ate it happily, crunching down on the bread. Toast was always a good breakfast, though not as good as tacos, not much was better than that. I'd have to say chocolate tops anything, but I get an intense sugar rush from it, apparently, so I can't have it very often.
