"Y/N, I hired someone to come and cut the lawn. They should be here in about 15 minutes, I have a meeting, so make sure you open the gate for him." Her father told her, grabbing his briefcase and his keys.
"Okay." Y/N replied, too interested in the show on the TV to pay him any mind. The door opened, then closed and she was left alone again.
As time passed by, the doorbell rang. Mentally cursing herself for forgetting what her father had told her, Y/N jumped up, pulling down her mini skirt in the process to answer the door.
A boy that looked around her age stood there awaiting as she opened it.
"Hello." She greeted him, her tiny delicate hands falling into his larger rough ones as they shook. "Hi, I'm here with Kim Lawn Service, am I at the correct house?" "Yes, Y/L/N residence. I'm assuming you spoke to my father." She smiled, letting him inside her home.
"Yes ma'am." He spoke looking around, feeling little of himself for being inside of such an expensive home. "Here is the key to the back gate, just knock on the door if you need anything." She said, putting the key in his hand.
He nodded before stepping out of the house.
Time passed and it was now two in the afternoon, Jin was still outside, baking in the sun as he trimmed the hedges.
Y/N brought out some beverages for the two of them, "Come sit, you must be parched." Y/N invited him under the nicely shaded canopy. "What's your name?" She questioned him. "Seokjin." He replied, cooling down and enjoying the lovely iced lemonade. "I'm Y/N." She smiled.
Jin was confused to why she had such an interest in him, a poor boy from the southside of town, she was superior to him.
"So, are you about done?" She asked looking around the yard. "Just about, I was gonna use the leaf blower to get rid of all the trimmings." Jin explained. "Nonsense, that's what the wind is for." Y/N laughed.
Jin smiled at her humor.
"Well, I am suppose to clean up, its my job." He replied. "Oh forget your job, you did amazing. Let me pay you now." Y/N said as she stood up. "C'mon." She gestured him as they walked into her home. She grabbed about $500. She handed Jin the money as his eyes widened. "M-Ma'am, the service was only $75." He stated. "Take it as a tip, and wait until I brag about your work to my father, there'll be a lot more where that came from." Y/N winked.
He began feeling shy all of a sudden as he looked down at the large sum of money in his hands, thinking about how much this would help his family.
"I-I don't know how to thank you." Jin stuttered, his nervousness getting the best of him, as they made their way to the front door.
"No need to thank me, babe." Y/N concluded before shutting the door.
Jin's cheeks were flushed in red as he walked to his pick up truck, and that evening, Jin found himself with a new crush.
