I stand in the shower, crying. Why is Ellie suddenly in the picture? What's hurting me more is that Gio left me all alone and he didn't even text me to see if I was okay or where I was. Is this a taste of my own medecine? Is this happening to me because of what I did yesterday. But I did that to save Elijah from getting hurt. His was a different story. I close the hot water and wrap a towel around me. I put on some comfy pyjamas and hop under the covers. After today all I wanted to do was  sleep. A long sleep just to forget all this.
The next morning I head downstairs as mom lays the pancakes and blueberries on my plate.

"Goodmorning Sweetheart. Did you sleep well?", she asks flipping the pancakes around.

"You could say that", I replied before I hear a knock on the door.

"Get it, would you baby?", my mom asked.

I opened the door and see Gio standing there all happy and smiley as if he forgot what happened last night.

"Goodmorning? Did you sleep well?", he smiled.

"Really? You're going to pretend everything is okay?", I asked upset.

"Uuh yeah. Why? What's wrong? Also why did you leave so early? The party just began".

The nerve of him. It's not like him to talk to me in this way and show that he doesn't care.

"What do you mean why I leave so early? You ditched me. You left me standing there all alone just because some blonde called you up. I had something important to tell you.", I spat.

"Okay her name is Ellie, Lai. And also I didn't leave you standing there. I thought you were okay with it. Plus Ellie bought David a new toy motorcycle and she wanted to show me how much fun Dave was having", he defended.

"You didn't even bother to text if I was okay. I took an Uber home last night. I never take public transport, " I yelled.

"Stop acting like you were killed. It wasn't personal. Ellie is a good friend of mine and I got a little carried away"

"Wow that's rich coming from you. Where is all this coming from? And what  am I to you huh?", I felt a tear slip from my cheek.

"Okay that was a little harsh. I'm sorry. I acted like a jerk. I promise, I'll make it up to you.", he said with pity in his eyes.

"You think?", I sniffled a little from my tears.

"Come here", he pulled me into a hug. "Just wipe you eyes and stop this cryinggggggg. I told the truth that I've been lyinggggg", he sang.

"Bet lil baby won't have broken my heart", I forgave him. He put his arm around me and I felt safe. I never wanted to leave Gios side or him leave mine.

"Now go get ready, we'll go watch a movie", he smiled.

"It's on you right?", I smiled back.

"I have to treat my feisty girl sometimes".

So we got to the movie theatre and Gio went to buy our tickets. The lines were mad long and I absolutely hated lines. I would rather lose whatever I am waiting for then wait in a line. So I decided to just walk around and look into windows of the nearby shops.

"I got a wild idea. I think Mr Melon is quite old now, don't you?", Gio asked.

"Why do you have to always come at him all the time. His my baby", I roll my eyes.

"His probably older than me. Which is why I think you should get a new one.", he pointed at the Bear-Workshop. He grabbed my hand and pulled me inside. He took a pink basket of the shelf. "So let me sketch what I want him to look like."

Gio got his sketch ready and showed it to me  before he handed it to the lady for creation. I picked out a cute little outfit and we waited for him to be made. A few minutes later a little baby elephant with a yellow dress and some baby pink shoes on his feet was given to us with a little tag on the back. It read 'Grey💗'

"You named him Grey?", I giggled cuddling into my new plush teddy.

"You put  a dress on Grey so I'm assuming it's  a her?", he laughed.
Gio stroked Grey on her soft trunk.

"Why is a teddy bear never hungry?", he asked so confidently.

"Because it's always stuffed"

"Seriously? Don't you know it's rude to answers someone's dad joke. I was so excited to tell you that ever since we entered the workshop. I hate you sometimes", he crossed his arm over his chest and pouted like a little kid.

"Sorry sunshine, I'll let you have the next one okay?", I punched his arm.
"By the way, did you buy our tickets?"

"Yeah but it's kinda full so we only got place for an hour or so", he said. "Wanna maybe just walk around the mall until time is up? We don't really have much going on anyway. "

Sipping on my Starbucks, my eyes laid of a beautiful necklace. It was so gorgeous that I couldn't stop looking at it. It was a thin, light silver with a butterfly pendent and some diamonds on it. I own a numerous amount of jewellery but this was next level stunning.

"Whatcha looking at?", Gio asked as I felt him hover over me considering how short I am compared to him.

"Oh nothing, just taking a look. Did you check out that Nike you wanted to see?", I rushed my sentence.

"Is it that butterfly one?"

I felt Gio leaving my side and running into the shop. I ran behind him knowing his intention.

"No Gio, you can't buy that for me?!", I say grabbing the box.

"I can and I want to. I do what I want and right now I want to buy this necklace for you", he sassily replied.

"I can't let you. It's too expensive plus you got me Grey", I crunched my eyebrows.

"Ill take it in a gift bag please", Gio smiled kindly at the cashier. "Oh you're a girl right? Does this look pretty?", he asks holding up a cute diamond bracelet.

"Uuh last time I checked, yes. And you just got me a necklace and a teddy. I won't allow you to take this too"

"Actually it's for Ellie", he smiled. My mood just changed within seconds after hearing her name. I felt so hurt. I'm not being mean or anything. But today was supposed to be about us. I'm super grateful for the gifts but was it necessary to get Ellie something to? She's no one to him and suddenly she's all he ever thinks about. This is crazy and beyond my understanding.

"Why are you buying Ellie a gift? Is it to thank her for buying David a new toy", I asked hoping he would say that's the reason.

"Uhh actually-"

He was cut of by the women behind the till. "Sir, would you like to attach a note to it?", she asked professionally.

"Uhh yeah. Should I write it?". The woman handed him a pen and a little red card.

'Thank you for entering my life. Hope you life this gift
        - Gio❤️ '

I read the note and I immediately felt sick in my stomach. I didn't know whether I wanted to cry or be mad at him.

"A-are you two d-dating", I asked as I felt tears fill the brim of my eyes.

"Yes."
