" Are you sure you want to go? It's not to late to cancel. " Larry regretted the way he worded that as soon as the sentence left his mouth, but there was no time to try and re-word it now. " Larry, I know your worried. I know that your just trying to look out for me. But I promise, it's ok. " Larry sighed. " Alright Sal. But just be careful, and if your not back by 3:30 then don't blame me for thinking your dead. " Sal laughed. " it's ok Lar. I'll be back at 3:30. Promise. " Larry waver goodbye to Sal as he walked out the door. He missed Sal already as if Sal wasn't coming back.

" Wow, really?! I can't believe that. " Travis said, sitting on the bench as he looked at Sal who was getting ready to continue his story. " Me neither. I tried my best not to laugh. But come on how could I not!? " Sal and Travis both laughed. They were really starting to warm up to each other. It did kind of suck that Travis had to tell his dad that Sal was a girl, his dad was convicted Travis was going on a date. So to save him the time, energy, and risk of explaining that Sal was a boy he just let it go. But the last thing on Travis's mind was his dad in that moment. Sal and Travis laughed and talked for a long time, until Travis heard Sals phone go off. " Hey, Sal. I think your phones going off " " Oh, it is. Thanks for letting me know Travis. " Sal picked up his phone and turned it on. He saw that Not only was it 4:00, but he had a total of 38 new messages from Larry. " Travis, look at the time. It's four o'clock, guess we're gonna be a bit late to get home. We need to get going " Sal looked over at Travis. He looked like he had just seen a ghost. " Oh shit! I have to get home right now! My dads gonna kill me! " " Travis, it's ok. We're just running a little late. He'll probably understand. I know your dads a bit strict but-" Sal was cut off. " I have to go, now! I'll see you later Sal! " before Sal could say anything Travis ran off. He didn't understand why Travis ran off like that. I mean. The worst his father can do is ground him, right?

Sal walked to Larry's apartment and opened the door, it was pretty much his second home by now so him and Larry both felt comfortable with Sal going into the apartment without knocking. But as soon as he opened the door he was met with Larry on the other side of the door about it run out of it until he saw Sal, giving him only seconds to react. He stopped himself and looked at Sal. Larry's eyes were blood shot and it looked as if he had just been smoking or crying. Sal thought he knew which one it was. " Where the hell have you been?! You told me you would be back over thirty minutes ago! I've been texting you non stop for the past hour! " " Larry, I'm so sorry. I didn't realize how late it was until a few minutes ago. I'm sorry. " " oh yeah! I'm sure you are. And just who was holding you up huh? That bible fucker!?" Sal sat silently. He needed to let Larry blow off some steam, even though it was so hard to listen to. " Why do you love him so much? I mean honestly it's absolutely ridiculous! You don't even know him that well! You spend all your time with him and leave me to fucking third wheel and I..I just.." Sal didn't know how much more he could listen to. He knew Larry did this out of love but he couldn't take much more. And it was starting to show. Larry could see it and everything fell silent for a few seconds before Larry's eyes started to get red and a single tear feel from his left eye. He slammed the door in Sals "Face". He knew he couldn't be around him: he couldn't talk to him. Not like this, he knows he'll say something he will regret and beat himself up for when he calms down. " Sal signed and walked away. He knew Larry needed time to think, cause so did he.
