No one notices your tears, No one notices your sadness, No one notices your pains, but they all notice your mistakes.
Chapter Seven- New Beginning
As the sky broke into another beautiful morning with it's exceptional colors radiating, Ra'eesah silently packed all her clothes into her suitcases for she was going to the school hostel to start a new life..
Dragging her suits, she made her way to the ironed gate. The sound of a car was what made her open the gate curiously. The face of Alhaji Ibrahim Fu'ad was what came into view. He was elegantly dressed in a light blue Getzner.
"Good Morning father" she greeted.
"Morning my daughter. Where are you going to early this morning with these big suitcases"? He asked pointing at them behind her.
African parents with questions!
"I'm going to the school hostel" she answered with a fake smile.
"Why? Daughter. Aren't you happy at home"?
Only if you know the kind of life I'm living!
"No Father, I prefer the hostel" she lied.. And plastered a fake smile.
"Okay my baby. I'm here to take your father for a treatment which I hope it'll be a successful one InshaAllah. Here, take this" he stretched his hands and handed her a bunch of 500 Naira notes.
"But you shouldn't have, dad." She protested not wanting to collect the money.
"This is a little Ihsaan From a father to his daughter ". He smiled.
"She reluctantly collected it and showed appreciation before heading out.
Kaduna state university.
The school was so silent like a grave; with the trees jubilating. There was no sound except for the birds that were singing merrily.
"Good morning ma'am please where is the girl's hostel located"? She asked a woman sweeping.
"It's just behind Faculty of Education" the woman asked as she continued her work.
She walked so silently, not in a haste. As she continued to recite some azkaar's, inaudibly.
Entering the hostel, she quickly located her room.
She gently pushed the door and entered the room with her suitcases behind her.
"Salaam Alaykum, good morning to you". She greeted the pretty girl sitting on her bed still in her pyjamas.
"Wa'alaykis-salaam. You must be Ra'eesah. Right"? She smiled sweetly at her.
"Yes I am" she smiled.
"I am Ameeynaturh" her new room mate said with a smile on her face.
"It's nice meeting you". She added as she helped Ra'eesah with her boxes into the room.
"What course are you studying"? Ameeynaturh inquired.
"Mass Communication" she answered as she kept the last clothe in her shelf. "And you"? She added.
"Awwwn. Our future journalist. I study Physiotherapy. She smiled.
"It WAS my mother's dream".Ra'eesah had wanted to ask her roommate why she was using past tense referring to her mother; but brushed it off and kept mute instead.
As she finished arranging everything in order, she sat on the bed Ameeynaturh finished spraying bedsheets on.

"Hey where are you! Come home this minute"..
Ya Rabbi! What might possibly happen?
Is Mommy trying to do something ridiculous?
Or something happened to my Father.. Oh no! No! She kept muttering "hasbunallahu wa ni'imal wakeel" like a mantra as she headed home!
Upon entering the house, she was speechless. Devoid of emotions.
To call what Mommy was doing funny will be an understatement. She found the woman throwing out her properties from her room!
She just placed her palm on her chin as she continued to watch the drama unfolding.
Mommy continued her foolishness until she was satisfied. She then stomped out of the room.
With the help of Saajida, she packed all her clothes and waited for the next day to move out of HER OWN FATHER'S HOUSE!

Sleepy head wake up already! It's 2:30am. We have to pray tahajjud. Ameeynaturh said as she waked Ra'eesah.
The two girls prayed in the dark peaceful night, praying dedicatedly to their creator, the King of all kings, the master of the day of judgment, the hearer, the sustainer, the all knowing, the ONE, forgiver, the nourisher, the giver, the ALL.
After praying, the girls decided to take a short nap before subh prayers.
"I have a lecture to attend by 7:00am". Ra'eesah announced. The journalism lecturer is very strict". She added as she continued to apply her lotion after taking her bath.
"I'll see you around by 11am InshaAllah" I also have an assignment to submit. We'll go to the school eatery from then InshaAllah". Ameeynaturh responded.

"Hey sister, how are you doing"? Saajidah asked Ra'eesah once they met in the cafeteria.
"I'm fine, Alhamdulillah. How is everyone doing at home"?
"Mommy has been sick since the day you left. She's always having nightmares at night and she complains a lot about headache". She informed.
"Subhan'Allah! May the almighty Allah grant her shifaa". Ra'eesah prayed as Saajida changed the topic to something different.
