A/N: This is my second fan fiction and I'm so exited to begin the whole journey of writing a story all over again!

Nico's POV:
I lay down on my bed, contemplating whether I should get up and walk to the freezer to get ice cream or not, when my phone rang. I looked at the caller ID and saw that it was my best friend, Reyna.

"Hey Reyna, what's up?" I questioned.

"What's up is that you need to get your lazy ass up and moving."

"But-" I started, but Reyna cut me off

"No buts." She firmly insisted "You can't lie to me, I know you've been sulking on that bed the whole morning. Besides, without me, you'll still be in your bed when afternoon rolls along. Now get outta the house and if you're not gone in 15 minutes, I'll come over and drag your sorry butt outside myself. Got it?"

I shuddered, knowing that Reyna was true to her word and would actually hunt me down. I vigorously nodded before remembering that she couldn't see me.

"Alright, alright, I'll go outside. Not that you're giving me much of a choice anyways." I grumbled.

"Good." Reyna said, and hung up.

Sighing, I got up from my bed and picked up a black shirt off the floor. I pulled it on and began the search for my jeans. Exactly fifteen minutes later, I stepped out of my apartment and onto the sidewalk. The sun was at its highest point in the sky, and birds were chirping excitedly. Kids were running around on the lush green grass surrounding the sidewalks, and dogs were barking with joy. Basically, I hated it.

I walked a few blocks farther and began looking at the store signs.

"Pizza Hut, Circe's Beauty Salon, Cheerful Critters." I read under my breath.

Wait, what about the last one? Sure, the name sounded pretty cheesy, but it was the pets. I had always wanted a cat when I was little, but we were too poor to afford one, so I'd never asked. Now though, I could get whatever I wanted.

I opened the door and was immediately thrown into chaos. Employees were running after a small, furry, midnight black cat that could slip through about anything. It darted under the sofa and only seconds later reappeared again. I didn't have time to be surprised when a small, round ball of fur leaped onto me out of nowhere. It managed to scratch me a few times before I held up a hand and stroked it, whispering soothing words the whole time. The cat relaxed and started to purr contently.

The employees had frozen and one of them was the first to recover and ran towards me. He had long, luscious, sunny blond hair that fell in waves around his perfectly tanned face. His eyes were a clear, baby blue, and they were now filled with concern.

"Are you okay?" he demanded.

A strangled gasp was all that came out of my mouth and it seemed to panic him further.

"I'm so sorry, please don't sue us, my dad would kill me. I can get you a free coffee or something to make it up to you. Or, I'm not assuming, you don't have to like coffee, it could be tea. Oh, I'm going to strangle Lou with her favourite dog collar, she left the cage open." he rambled.

"You're rambling." I pointed out stupidly.

Will's POV:
"You're rambling." pointed out the black haired stranger.

"Sorry." I blushed. "I tend to do that sometimes."

He nodded in understanding and shifted his arms when I noticed something.
