Talia couldn't see anything, at least I think she couldn't. She might have been peeking I dunno. I walked slowly behind her guiding her into the house as she covered her eyes.
Talia: "Simonnn, I don't like ittt, what is itttt" She complained half curious, mostly nervous.
I chuckled as I replied "I already told you it's a surprise it's nothing bad I promise"
Talia: "Simon i'm scared" she giggled innocently
"It's not even for you really, I just wanted to see your reaction considering we''ll at least be spending part of Christmas here together"
We stopped walking as I closed the front door behind us. Talia stood facing the 'Surprise' and I took a few steps back while facing her so I could see her reaction.
"OK...You can look now" I said in anticipation
Talia cowered behind her hands as she slowly opened her eyes, still very nervous I guess as to what was waiting for her.
I watches as her expression calmed and she almost seemed to go into a trance.
Talia: Her tone calmer and sweet like it normally was "Oh my God Simon"
"Its cool yea?"
Talia: "Did you guys do this yourselves? Its Massive"
"Yea It is" I said sarcastically
We both laughed and she slapped my arm as I went over to her.
"nahhhh, Me and Jordz decorated it but it came here and just went straight up" I said low key proud of myself...and Jordz of course.
Talia: "It's amazing"
"Makes the Place look a bit more Christmassy right?"
Talia: "Is this a normal thing? Like, Do you do this every year?"
"Nah I just thought it'd be cool innit, I filmed a bunch of reactions but I thought I'd just surprise you and let it be a little special moment y'know"
Talia: "Looks like its gonna be a good Christmas"
She smiled up at me as I wrapped my arm around her back, she hugged me as I did. We both looked at the tree that illuminated the room. It felt like a scene out of a film. I leant down and kissed her quickly, there was the spark that there always was.
"Happy Christmas Talia" I said staring into her deep, brown eyes
Talia: "Happy Christmas Simon" She stared back at me.
We both smiled in the moment.
God I loved her so much. Wait hang on a second...what was that thought again? ...

Yea Im shit at actually writing lmao. 5 days for this. HELLA short chapter, like 1/4 of what I normally write but fuck it why not.
Ima try and get the next chapter out within like 2 days then when this lil ark is done ima skip like 2 months again. Its alot of skipping but the goal is to catch up to roughly present day asap and I have loads of Ideas for along the way.
