XXXIV - Letting her win

After Filming my Video today, Me, Tobi, Manny and JJ decided to actually use the pitch I'd built in the spare room of the house to decide who was paying for dinner. 

"JJ pass for fuck sake stop just trying to flip flap" I laughed in frustration as he once again gave Tobi the ball because he failed his one skill.

Tobi scored again taking them ahead of us.

Tobi: "3-2, first to 5?"

"Sounds good" 

JJ was going to take kick off

"JJ please don't try any more skills it doesn't work"

JJ: "Would you rather I just shoot?"

"YES! at least we have a chance then"

JJ: "Fine you know what..."

He went to kick the ball with a two step run up. He hit the foam ball as hard as he could...

We all heard a quick scream from in the hall.

"How did you manage to kick it out the goal is THERE" I yelled as I ran out to see where the ball ended up while pointing towards the small goal that JJ missed by a mile. 

I pushed the already ajar door open turning back to talk to JJ

"How did you manage to get it through here but not anywhere near that goal" I laughed again

About to go through the door I turned to be met with Talia.

"Oh hey" I smiled like I did every time I saw her, she gave me a little smile back.

Talia: "So it was JJ who hit me was it"

"Did he actually are you ok?"

Talia: "All fine" She walked into the football pitch room now to 'confront him' I guess? "JJ I could do better than that, try to actually aim for the goal next time"

JJ: "Yea sorry about that"

"I think, for that, JJ has to buy everyone and Talia Nandos now"

JJ: "Wait nah fam"

Tobi: "Yea"

Manny: "Sounds fair"

JJ: "Hold up..."

Talia: "Yea I don't think anyone's arguing" 

"cheers Jide"

JJ: "Fuck you all man, fine" He went out to presumably go order us food.

Talia: "So this is what you'v been up to all day" 

Manny: "This is the bit he gets in trouble so i'm out" He then runs away

Me, Talia and now just left, Tobi all laugh at him.

Tobi: "wanna play then Talia?"

Talia: "I'm AWFUL, but sure" 

"Ill Go easy on you innit"

Talia: "Alright show off"

"Never mind then" I laughed

Tobi gave Talia the ball and she cautiously dribbled towards my goal at the window end of the pitch.

I took a large step forwards and just gently poked the ball from her feet backwards towards her own half. Tobi picked up the ball and drew me over the left hand side of the pitch.

Talia: "Nooooo" She screamed with a smile on her face as she lost the ball despite her concentrated control.

I went over to stand down Tobi but he juked me and passed the ball to Talia so she had a clear shot at goal. With no challenge from me she managed to put the ball away so they scored against me.

Talia and Tobi both hugged celebrating.

Talia: "Ill go easy on you" she intimidated me badly with a grin 

"Oh you wanna be cocky about it do ya?"

Talia: "I mean we're winning so" She shrugged and got ready to play again after I shamefully took the ball out the net

I dribbled the ball casually to the middle of the room then just hit the ball straight and low through Talia's legs while she was slightly off guard, I knew it was an awful shot but It was funny.

"haha" I laughed as I ran to scrap for the ball with Tobi.

Tobi got to the ball first and we were locked in the corner. Tobi pulled some magic out the bag and flicked the ball past me again giving Talia an open path to the goal but her inaccurate shooting meant she had to dribble at least a third of the pitch.

I got away from Tobi and in those 2 seconds caught up with Talia as she was in a position to score. I came up behind her and pulled her to the ground after wrapping my hands round her waist. 

Talia: "Simon thats cheating" she screamed as we fell

"Tactical foul" I yelled back as I held her on the ground

Tobi tapped the ball in the goal but the game wasn't important to me really.

Talia: "Simon let me up" She complained while trying to free herself from my grip around her waist

"Ref shes attacking me you see that" I joked

Tobi: "well you two have fun figuring that out imma go get my Nandos order in" He laughed at us then left quickly

"ooo Nandos" I say and try to get up and now freeing her

Talia: "See how you like it" She wraps her arms around me as i'm getting up and brings me back down onto the astro turf with her.

We now both ended up rolling about the floor like little children laughing at how childish we were being.

After about a minute of messing around we stopped rolling around and it resulted in us just hugging on the floor in the middle of a room.

Talia: "So I won"

"Fine" I chuckled "I let you win though"

Talia rolled her eyes. I kissed her cheek then decided to free myself again and get up.

I put out my hand for her to take, which she did. 

"Lets go get Nandos"

Yeaaaaaa remember when I said don't be surprised if it takes me 2 months to update...

*nervous laughter*

I actually have a few ideas and parts ready to maybe write so I might have some updates actually soon this time (I hope I can actually write)
