☽Part 6

Me: "I would invite you upstairs into my room. But umm it's kinda a mess."

Kairi: "Oh no yeah, no worries. I'll wait down here."

Me: "I'll be fast I just have to grab my phone"

Kairi: "Alright haha"

I walked upstairs and into my room. I quickly made my bed and picked up the tissues and ice cream boxes off of the floor and threw them away. I grabbed my phone and sprayed some perfume. I looked in the mirror and just smiled. I walked downstairs and saw Kairi looking at some pictures.

Kairi: "Is this your sister..?"

Me: "Oh um no haha that's my best friend Piper."

Kairi: "Oh haha"

We walked out and got into his car.

Kairi: "Don't want to sound weird or anything but um- I brought some things for a picnic"

Me: "It's not weird at all, a picnic sounds like fun"

I keep getting butterflies. Why do I feel like this? Sure Kairi is sweet and cute. But I just met him. How can I catch feelings for him so fast?

As we drove to wherever it is we were going I thought to myself. Is this a date? Would he consider this a date? Are we going as just friends? Am I overthinking this....?

Kairis POV:

The boys and I were all on a Group FaceTime call when Aria's name popped up.

Mattia: "Have you guys talked to Aria?"

Alejandro: "No, she kinda ghosted everyone. She hasn't been active on anything"

I started getting worried. What if something happened to Aria?

Alvaro: "Kairi you there?"

Me: "Oh um yeah sorry."

Mattia: "Oooo I see"

Me: "What?"

Mattia: "Kai caught some feelings for Aria"

I started blushing just by hearing her name

Me: "What- no. I just met her. She's more like a sister to me"

Alejandro: "Sure"

Alvaro: "That's bull."

Mattia: "Kind obvious dude-"

Me: "I'm just worried that something happened to her, or if she did something"

Alvaro: "I don't think she will do something."

Me: "Yeah, but I mean you never know."

Mattia: "Just don't think anything bad. You'reprobaly overthinking. I bet she's fine."

Alvaro: "You should ask her on a date, make a move"

Alejandro: "do it! I think she has feelings for you."

Me: "I don't think so haha"

Mattia: "since it looks like you're not going to do anything, I'm going to ask her out. To get her mind off of things."

Me: "Don't!" "I mean- "

Mattia: "That's what I thought."

Alejandro: "That a BOY!!!"

Kairi: "Actually I think I'm going to head over there right now and take her on a picnic."

Alvaro: "YEAH!"

Alejandro: "Go, dude!"

Me: "imma dip bye"

I hung up and changed. I sprayed on some cologne and walked downstairs, I grabbed some food for a picnic and a blanket from the closet. I grabbed my mother's basket and walked out to the car. I drove to the store and bought some little things for Aria. As I drove to the store I thought to myself, 'Did I actually catch feelings for her?' Even though I just met her, something about her makes me feel happy and just all positive, I get butterflies and I just don't know how to explain it.
