I hear a bloodcurdling scream, as if a young girl had been cut open with a blunt scalpel.
Wait, that would be me.
The cold air scatters goosebumps on my pale, lifeless flesh. I hear the screams of other monsters roar, combined with the soft clinking of the metal prongs in my stomach. I focus on the screaming instead of the horrific agony of having surgery without anaesthesia.
I roll my head to focus on the room, darkness combined with shadowy figures that are hard to make out. Sweat and blood run like rivers down my hairline and into my eyes, stinging. I close my eyes, listening to the screams.
Hoping I can die before they find another way to torture an eight-year old girl.
And eight year old monster.
A freak.
Abomination.
