Shota's POV
She hates me.
She won't even see me. She's stubborn, but not stupid enough to be alone in her worst nightmare.
The doctors confirmed her wound was septic. They removed more infected stitches a few days ago.
I could hear her screaming.
I pounded the door in frustration.
Please.
Let Me In.
I want to help you.
Let me help you.
She refused to let me in. I sat in the waiting room everyday. I listened to the same song until it made sense.
All I could hear was my thoughts, draining me into the pain that threatened to crush me.I didn't mean to hurt you.
I won't ever hurt you again.I'll seek you out
Flay you alive
One more word and you won't surviveYou have to live through this.
And I'm not scared of your stolen power
Your killing me here, kid.
See right through you any hour.
The wall you have put up between us is weakening what we have already built.
Burn it Y/N.Y/N's POV
Mic is teaching more classes today. Instead I listen to music.
I wonder if Zawa has left yet?
I pull out the IV once the nurse leaves. It stings like hell.
I won't soothe your pain.
I remove the stupidly heavy blanket that the psych ward gave me to 'Feel Better'.
I won't ease your strain.
I tiptoe to the bathroom, in case anyone hears me moving around against doctors orders.
You'll be waiting in vain.
I look in the mirror at my corpse-like state.
I have nothing to loose now.
I got nothing for you to gain.
I will be a hero.Eyes on fire
Your spine is ablaze.
Felling any foe with my gazeJust in time
In the right place
Steadily emerging with grace.I walk out of the bathroom, wearing jeans and a black long-sleeved top.
Yes, they are baggy and somehow bigger than before.
No, they're not new. They are (well, were) the best fitting clothing items I've ever owned.
I tug the earbuds from my ears and shove them in my bag, along with my phone. How was I defeated?
The Lunch Trolley.
