Felix POV

I said I will pay for the damages, Felix cried in frustration as the crowd kept getting larger, He rested on the car bonnet as he reflected on how his day had gone,

9:33am, He had spoken to Elfreda earlier then called the restaurant to reserve a table all was going as planned, He had picked a beautiful silver jewellery for his wife, He was going on leave and would like to take a vacation with her, he knows how hard she's been working and wants to spend time with her.

12:09pm Board Meeting commenced, he was more than shocked on how they couldn't agree on simple matters, causing debates to last hours, two hours meeting became four hours, he was relieved when it came to an end, he literally ran out of the conference room.

He was to meet Elfreda by 4:30pm, he has barely 20 minutes to make a 30minutes drive, 10 minutes on the road, boom!! an incoming vehicle hits his car at an intersection, he stops steps out of his car, to inspect the damage, he is furious, the damage would cost him a lot.

he waits for the culprit to step down and do the needful, he was in for a shock.

a large man, very pregnant looking , squeezed out of the station wagon's driver seat, followed by two other men from the passenger seats, "are you blind?" the pregnant looking man yelled, you hit my car!

Felix was puzzled, and furious at this point, "you are the one that is blind, you can't see the light on your end is red!?"

a few moments later, Felix was wishing, he had just driven off, the damages on the other car is not much, this man had iron rod bumbers installed. a crowd had formed, everyone with his own expert opinion, the fracas was cause major backlog, horns and hooting everywhere.

I will deal with you, the pregnant man fumed, as a traffic warden tried to contain the now, violent pregnant man.

Felix looked at the time, it was 4:48,pm, at this point he gave up on the fight, he agreed to pay for damages, he then called the towing service, they arrived quite swiftly.

4:53pm he called Elfreda, she would be so worried, "The person you are trying to call is on another call at the moment", he hailed a motorcyclist, "take me to Golden Rose", he said as he jumped behind the bike man.

the bike man zoomed off,

Felix phone was ringing now, Elfreda was calling but his phone was still on silent mode, from the meeting earlier.

He missed her calls.

5:05pm The bike man arrives Golden Rose Restaurant, Felix pays him his fare, and dashed into the restaurant, looking like he was late for a flight.

he started towards their booth, when he noticed it was empty, he took a seat and pulled out his phone, she must have gone to the ladies, he thought .

he then saw her calls, "chai she has been calling me sef", he said as he dialed her number,

she soon picked up, Baby where are you?  he asked, I'm at the restaurant he added.
oh you are there? I'll join you soon dear, I had to meet up with a client, so sorry.

ok he said, quite sad, at the turn of events,
I'm quite exhausted myself, said Felix, "lets see at home okay"?

ok thats fine replied Elfreda, not sure she could make it in the first place, Mrs Asekutu, suddenly wants to pick the dress style today and she can't seem to make any choice.

Felix walks to the bar, and gets a bottle of water, "so she did not even come here" he thought to himself...
