Chapter 9

/ Bakugou's POV/

We were flying for about an hour, Kirishima insisted on having Todoroki upfront so he can lead him where to go. I have to admit, I was angry. Or jealous? Kirishima already noticed that I was angry since every so often he would turn his head and check on me. Kirishima turned his head, his golden eye looking straight at me. It was nightfall and everyone was asleep but me.

' Man you seem angry wanna talk ab-'

" No, I'm fine, just focus and don't worry about me" I said softly so I wouldn't wake anyone. Deku fell asleep on half n' half. I lay back onto his smooth scales, admiring the stars.

" Hey, Kiri" I say. It's hard for me to sleep when I have a lot on my mind. At the moment, I had a lot on my mind.

' Yeah bro?' He peeked over his shoulder. I completely forgot we mind talked? I guess you can call it that. It's Kirishima's way of talking while in his dragon form.

" Tell me something...I like hearing your voice" I blurted. Why does life hate me so much? I blushed and hoped he wouldn't notice.

' O-oh- u-uh, thank you? and I don't have much to say, I mean...I've started to wonder, when we don't have a bounty on our heads, and we are free people, what are we going to do? Where are we gonna settle down? It's going to be easier for you Mr.Bigshot, you're a prince, Mina, Kami, and Sero will most likely settle down somewhere else and me? I don't have anywhere to go...I don't want to be a hassle for you...I was thinking of flying away when things are better...I don't even know if you're going to-" I dozed off before he could complete his sentence.

When I opened my eyes, I was giving a warm hello by the sun. Purple dots clouded my vision but I blinked them away. I looked around, I was in a motel room. I was alone and I tried not to think that the others left me...or got rid of me. I got out of the bed quickly, looking around for any signs that they were coming back. I didn't like being alone, as much as I say I like it..I don't. After running away I was alone for a few months. It was the worst, I was scared of going back. I was scared of being caught by someone hired by my mother to bring me back. I found Kami, sero and raccoon eyes and I felt better. Nine days after, we found Kirishima and you know the rest.

"Hey man, sorry for leaving 'ya. I went to buy you some food and the rest went on a small quest for a couple golden coins" Kirishima walked in. I turned to him. I tried to hide my worry with anger but Kirishima could see right through me like glass. He chuckled and smile, most likely waiting for a reply like 'where were you?!' or 'you had me worry sick!', which I was about to yell but I contained myself and continued to glare, hoping he would think that I was mad.

"I said I was sorry!" He let out another chuckled "I'm not gonna leave you Bakubro!"
I went up to him and gave him a hug.
" You better not shitty hair " I hissed. He just laughed it off.

" we're going to stay here for awhile" He said, looking at me. His crimson eyes seemed to shine in the sunlight.
" whatever- don't.ever.do.that.again" I snarled
" whatever you say blastboy~" he said in a flirting tone.

Before I could reply, the door knob turned and the door slowly opened.
Deku and IcyHot walked in. I groaned. Fucking Perfect.
" what do you want "  I growled. Kirishima seemed to back off a bit.
" Having fun?" IcyHot asked, catching a quick glance at my dragon, who looked as red as his shit hair.
" Todoroki don't be mean! " Deku pouted. ...ok the fuck?
"  My apologies Izuku "
Kirishima let out an awkward but annoyed chuckle.
" where is everyone else?"  He asked, looking for the others
" watching The yellow haired one having a dance off after having five shots of alcohol " Todoroki replied. I face palmed.
" the moron had FIVE??" I laughed.
" At least it wasn't six" Kirishima sighed, obviously trying not to laugh.
" I wanna see this" I got out of bed, my back hurt a bit...must have been the position I was in.
" BAKUGOU! You have to rest!" Kirishima yelped
" DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO! I DON'T TAKE ORDERS FROM YOU!" He yelled, kirishima plugged his ears and waited for me to finish. " Take me there Half n' Half ". Deku sighed and Todoroki cracked a smile, it kinda showed the baby size of him.
" Follow me i guess "
