A dragon's scales ~KiriBaku~

Chapter 16

/ Deku POv/

I bolted out into the ring and ran straight towards the dragon, ignoring Todoroki's constant begging me to come back.

" WE'RE NOT GONNA HURT YOU! " I lifted both of my hands into the air to prove I had no weapons. The dragon roared angrily pulling kacchan closer to him.

" o- oh I see- I AM NOT G-GONNA HURT HIM OK?" I yelled, loud enough for the dragon to hear me. In his eyes I could see that he was starting to cozy up to me but he was trying to act tough. I examined the beast. He had mixed of red and black scales. Half of him was red and the other half was black. Red scales like kir- no.. it can't be. Is this kIrishima.

I looked up at the dragon in disbelief. He was so big. Maybe it was a stronger form. But why black scales?? I stepped forward ,inching my way to kacchan. As I got closer, Kirishima's wild growling grew louder.

" Kirishima- I won't hurt him- I wanna help" I promised. I gently touched kacchan and turned him over. He had become pale from all the blood he lost. I looked around a saw a ripped piece and Kirishima's handkerchief.
' perfect ' I thought to my self. I grabbed the cloth and ripped some of my own clothes in an attempt to create some bandages for kacchan to stop the bleeding.

" SHINSOU, TODOROKI- SOMEONE GET ME A MEDIC " I yelled. Kacchan didn't have much time. He was going to die if we didn't get him to someone. I looked up at the dragon and started into his eyes.
" kirishima?" I knew it was him, no one was that protective of kacchan. The dragon continued to stare at me,  there was no sign of Kirishima.

" don't be so reckless Midoriya!" Todoroki sighed. He looked at Kacchan in pitty. "My father will pay for this"
He gently picked up an unconscious kacchan causing Kirishima to growl.
" Don't worry, we're getting him to a professional healer "
It seemed to calm him a little. I smiled softly.
From the smoke that was clearing up, Endeavour rose up which snapped Kirishima out of his calm state. The dragon roared, causing the stadium to shake.
" KIRISHIMA NO! HE'S NOT WORTH IT" I yelled. Kirishima continued to growl at the king. Shinsou and Kaminari ran off with Kacchan, and Todoroki stayed behind.
" you've lost father" Shouto said in an angered tone pointing at all the defeated guards. Endeavour smirked and chuckled.
" I haven't lost yet- this is only the beginning ". He bickered disappearing in a cloud of smoke.
Behind me a groan was proceeded by a thud. I turned around and saw that the giant dragon was gone and Kirishima was back and unconscious on the ground.
" we have to get out of here " A blonde man said. The navy blue dragon put Kiri on his back and picked up everyone that was on our side, including shouto and I  and flew off.

/ Bakugou POV/

All I remember before passing out with that bastard's face. Then some roses and now I'm here. Dammit. I was never more anxious in my life. Where's Ei? Is he ok? I never got to tell him how I feel about him... what if- oh no... don't tell me he's...dead?
I hugged my knees, which I will admit hurt my stomach. I left some tears stream down my face but I quickly wiped them away. I'm not a baby.
" HEY! SHINSOU LOOK! BLONDIE's AWAKE!" Dunce face chuckled joyfully. An unfamiliar man walked over to me.
"You should be more careful on how you pick your fights Bakugou" he lectured. I huffed.
" no one tells me what to do " I snapped. I looked over at Kaminari.
" how's.. y'know. eij- I mean Kirishima?"
" Out cold man- I thought he died" Kaminari joked, but obviously by the look on my face he stopped smiling and looked at his feet.
" I'm sure he's fine Bakugou"
" Where is he" I stood up from my dead which caused Kaminari and this man to panic ... more Kaminari, they other kid looked stressed out.
" WOAHWOAHWOAH. DUDE. you got stabbed my dude- you have to let your body heal!" Kaminari wailed.
" I'VE BEEN STABBED LOADS OF TIMES " I yelled.
" No dude you don't understand " Kami grabbed my shoulder gently, obviously he's trying not to hurt me.

" What don't I understand dunce face?!"

" Bakugou.. you died"
