A dragon's scales ~KiriBaku~

Chapter 11

So this is how it went down.

Todoroki and I walked away from them not( too far thought ) to make sure Hawks wouldn't hear us. Then Todoroki started telling me how Hawks is actually really nice and he thinks he's dating a bandit (his dead but yet no so dead older brother ) who goes by Dabi. Also that he'll agree to help us if we make him a pretty sweet deal.

So Todoroki and I put our heads into and we ended up making Kamiari ( who's drunk and would agree to this ) be a helpless romantic and distract Hawks while we snatch Bakugou.

We made our way back to the bar and got a drunk Kamiari who was at the moment dressed up in a really skin-showing women's outfit. I didn't want to ask what happened but I'm guessing his clothes were with Sero or something like that.

" So what's my job?" Asked Kami. I mentally faceplamed.
" you distract the human-chicken man , then you meet us at the Inn- " I explained, for the ninth time.
" Aaaahhh- I see "

He obviously didn't get it because he went over to hawks and starts trying to take him to our Inn- I mean- not gonna lie I guess that would work but we still need a place to bring back Bakugou-

If only it would work, but hawks wouldn't budge- he just stared at Kamiari like he was an idiot pulled out of a bar after stripping naked- which he was. I turned my head to Todoroki, I think I let out a chuckle. Princey Hot-Cold over here was banging his head on a tree- It made me think of Bakugou when he was frustrated-
" You're going to hurt yourself ," I chuckled quietly.
" I'm already in pain just by watching this- Out of everyone - why him?"
I bit my lip to force back a laugh " he's the best man for the job"

I think Todoroki might have lost all faith in me and my - cOUGH- excuse me - Bakugou' S crew-

I shifted into my dragon form and leaped in the clearing- wasn't the smartest move- it wasn't even part of the plan but I think it would take days or years for Kami to get Hawks away- I breathed fire onto the rope to try to burn them. The fumes must have somehow woken sleepig beauty here cuz when Bakugou saw that the ropes were burning, he was just yelling curses and trying not to get his hands grilled. 

Todoroki jumped in and managed to keep Hawks away from me before he could snap out of his shocked trance.

" WHERE IN THE GODS FUCKING NAME ARE WE ?! " Bakugou shouted. I rolled my eyes, someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed-
' Bakugou- calm down-' I tried- I really did- it's not easy calming down a ticking bomb.
" CALM. DOWN?! I WAKE UP IN THE MIDDLE OF BLOODY NO WHERE, WITH A HUGE ASS LIZARD IN MY FACE, MY HANDS ARE JUST ABOUT TO BE GRILLED AND YOU'RE TELLING ME TO '' CALM DOWN''?!"

Bakugou sounded more like a five year old child that didn't get the candy they wanted instead of a grown man yelling- . I figured I might as well shift back since I was already tired enough.
Side note- my human form is much more comfortable to be in-

" Blondie let's go-" I grabbed Kat and Kami's arms before running back to the Inn, I heard voices behind us so I figured that Todoroki was not far behind us and hopefully Hawks was unconscious.

I was wrong

I was so wrong.

When we finally reached the Inn, I looked back with a smile to say ' We did it! It worked in the end Todo!' But he wasn't there. I panicked. I kept waiting hoping he would come and apologize for being too old or something like that- I waited for thirty minutes before I felt a hand on my shoulder.

Bakugou decided to calm down and be a reassuring friend.
" we'll get him back ok? You two seemed to get along lately " he said in a surprisingly calming tone. I simply nodded.
" we were...he helped me get you back..If it wasn't for him...if something went wrong- Katsuki- " I turned to Katsuki and looked him in the eyes " I don't know what I would do, if I had lost you forever- I couldn't live with myself knowing I was weak enough to let you get taken away" I wasn't supposed to get this emotional but I felt tears streaming down my face. I tired to hold them back. It isn't manly to cry.

I felt Bakugou lift my chin.
" you aren't weak shitty hair, you're strong , you're the strongest warrior I've ever met- "
He gave me a hug. It was nice, he smelled like pine cones though-

I felt myself drift into a sleep..
