"You are fully aware that your relationship with her isn't possible, right?!" Jack asked Joseph, well more likely yelled at him as he was trying to split him away from Aesop. (Aesop for a girl is weird??? Comment or something and I'll change it hah.)

He sat up, clearly annoyed from Jack along with Joker just barging in while he slept. The constant yelling got to his nerves, covering both of his ears with his hands. 'This isn't what I planned to happen. It's not supposed to be this way.'

"This... this is what I'm talking about. They won't fear us anymore, just because of this idiotic crap." Joker pointed at him, anger spilling out of every words he said.

"Stop meddling with my life! No one owns me! I do my own decisions. I won't let go of her just because of your stupid reasons!" Joseph yelled back. He then heard chuckling from Jack, looking down at him with an off-putting look. "No one owns you?" Jack stopped to let out a laugh, humiliating him as he was walking away with Joker beside him.

"We're literally in a game. Our petty little bodies are controlled by someone else, some other brains making us living dolls that are tormented since the day we decided to walk in this manor." Jack stepped out, Joker following behind him.
"Stop this nonsense." And with that, they closed the door, Joseph took a last glance at those cold faces.

Joseph stared at the door as he felt every piece of him break. This isn't what he wanted. He just want to see Aesop, oh, how he loved her eyes.

(I think my writing is cringey-)

He stood up, changing to his proper clothing and stared at the mirror. He let out a sigh, feeling such a burden every time he see other hunters get punished from hiding his relationship with Aesop. —especially Michiko. She's good at acting every time the host visits. Telling them that Joseph's been dealt with.

With another long sigh, he decided to step out of his room. Walking down and passing through the kitchen where everyone sat... and ignored his presence,
eventually. Except for Michiko and Mary that gave him a faint smile.

He decided not to eat breakfast and went to the library. He walked pass the garden and to the room, opening it and inhaling. The smell of old books making him relaxed as he scanned the shelves of the romance section. It's kind of weird that the host made them a library, though no one visits it except for him.

His eyes stopped scanning when a book caught his eyes. "Oh?" He slides the tip of his hands on it's title, reading it as he did so.

"Romeo and Juliet" He chuckled remembering this tragic story.

"A boy and a girl
Under-aged
Fell in love with each other
And commits double-suicide."
He whispered out loud to himself, remembering a line he must've heard somewhere.

(I swear I heard something like that somewhere.)

He took the book, heading to the seat near the window. He sat and took a moment to stare outside. Everything is dead, not a single bird chirping can be heard. 'Oh, how lovely.'

He flipped the book open as he began reading. He, who likes literature so much of course had a fast reading phase. Taking him half an hour to get to the interesting parts of the story plot.

Then it hit him. The same words repeating in his head.
'A boy and a girl, under-aged , fell in love with each other and commits double suicide.' "THAT'S IT!" He exclaimed, rather loudly, closing the book in a process and leaving it on the window.
