I got dragged into this hellhole of 10 miles peach blossoms when I just saw it on Netflix recently.
I finished everything in one go. And felt the urge to read it's fanfiction. Sadly, I'm managed to finish all of 10 miles' fanfiction I can find under the sun. Craving for more, I decided to start writing my own.
Yan Zhi was one of my favorites characters in the show. And I wish they would explore more of her friendship between SuSu and Yan Zhi. I think things would go much different if Yan Zhi was there to help SuSu.
The title of my story Golden Orchid came from the Chinese term for bonding of sisters, 金兰结义. It is much similar to how men bond with each other as sworn brothers.
Don't worry. This is a BQ/YH story. I also think it's fun for Yan Zhi and Ye Hua to interact. Like slapping some sense into him in the Celestial Heavens.
I had borrowed some of the lines from the show. I found the full Chinese script of the show online. Since I watched it without subtitles as Chinese is my native language. I decided to translate them into English myself. If the lines do not match with the subtitles, I apologize. As this is much more convenient for me to write instead of watching the show multiple times.
I will also use some Chinese Proverbs, phrases, and metaphors in this story to appear more authentic. I will write down the translation and meanings below so don't worry. (My 9 years of torturing Chinese classes is finally worth something)
