Chapter 16

"Yan Zhi!" Su Su called out when she saw her. She gave Yan Zhi a bone-crushing hug. "You're back, "

Yan Zhi smiled at her sweet little sister. She missed her terribly. She had been gone for almost a full day, but it had been over half of a year in the mortal realm. It was nice to know that Su Su missed her too.

"How was seeing your brother again, " Su Su asked, "Did you return the seal? Was he harsh on you?"

She continued to pester her on loads of questions. Yan Zhi held Su Su's hands and gave it a tight squeeze, "I'll tell you later."

Yan Zhi didn't want to deal with those emotions now. Instead, she straightened herself and met the Crown Prince eye to eye. She pushed Su Su behind her and pointed an accusing finger at Ye Hua. "What do you think you're doing?"

The Prince glared down at her, "Careful, your highness, "

Oh, it's your highness now, is it?

Su Su pulled Yan Zhi back, "Jie Jie, it's okay, " 

Yan Zhi put down her foot, "No, it's not. You're an unmarried woman. You can't let a man take advantage of you liked this, "

Su Su and Ye Hua looked at each other. They were silent for quite some time, then Su Su pulled her aside. "We're married, " 

"Married?" Yan Zhi's eyes widened, she pointed at the snake, "To him?" 

Su Su nodded. 

"Since when?" Yan Zhi asked.

"A week after you left, "  she explained.

That snake was quick.

"Have you two done it?" Yan Zhi asked. Su Su's face turned red and nodded. She glared at Ye Hua, who just stood there clearing his throat. Yan Zhi had half a mind to pulverize him.

"Did he forced you?" Yan Zhi asked.

"No, "

"Did he tricked you?"

"Not that I know of, " she replied.

Yan Zhi knew Ye Hua and Su Su were getting close. Hell, they went on a date together that Yan Zhi helped plan before she left. She had thought once the Crown Prince had gotten bored of Su Su, he would leave. But to actually marry her! Was that man looking for a death sentence from the Nine Heavens? 

Why would Su Su agree to this?

He must have lied to her. 

She glanced at Ye Hua and back at her sister, "Su Su, you know nothing about him, "

"I know enough, " 

Yan Zhi crossed her arms, "Oh, do tell, "

"Well, his favorite food is steam fish, "

Yan Zhi rolled her eyes, "Not that, "

Su Su thought for a while and said, "He told me that his family will never accept me as his wife, " 

At least, Su Su didn't agree to this marriage completely blind. Yan Zhi nodded and rolled her hands for her to continue. 

"That's he's an immortal from heaven, "

"And what's his title?"

"Title?" Su Su stuttered.

So she didn't know the full story.

"Every immortal in the Nine Heavens has a title, " Yan Zhi explained, "What was his?"

"I…" she struggled to say.
